If Putin tried to invade Poland, it would trigger a massive NATO response that he is in no way prepared for, nor could he ever be - not even if China was forming ranks behind him. I think all the talk of Russian boogey men is just propaganda from globalists trying to ramp up some anti-Russian "patriotic fervor" among the peons. They have to have a boogey man to present as a common enemy for the commonoers, lest we figure out who the real enemy is and go after them. That would not bode well for the globalists. So, they use Russians as distractions for us. It has the bonus side effect of targeting a country that is already against the globalists - they just want us to think Russia is a danger us peons, too.
In the matter of the UK preparing a "citizens army", that's just not going to happen, either. The UK has been gunless for too many years. Very, very few people there are familiar enough with firearms to organize an effective fighting force among them with what they have to work with. They would have to massively import arms (like they did during WWII), and familiarize enough folks with them, then train them un use and tactics. I don't think there is enough time in "a couple of years" to get all that done, especially when it would involve a sea change in mindset for massive numbers of British folks.
People could be trained with imported arms in a coupe of years, BUT it's that change of mind-set that would be the sticking point. There is a vast difference between knowing HOW to use a firearm and actually using one against another human.
Plus, there would have to be massive changes in UK law to allow storage of the guns and ammo close to hand. The way things are set up currently, a foreign invasion force could roll over the country from sea to sea before the population could get to the storage facilities to get armed up.
