I'm going to play devil's advocate here.
The first time I watched this it brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of my own granny, and what she went through.
That's the "trick."
When studying on subliminal messages in movies and TV one thing I learned is emotions play a key role in a subliminal message.
In movies and TV if you wanted to plant a message deep into someones mind you have them watch a movie, TV show or commercial that has a very emotional pull on the one watching. The person is completely and totally focused on the images, as their emotions are flowing (especially sadness) and in that peak of emotional content you slip in a message. The fact that the message was received through one's emotions makes the messages a part of the psyche. You can literally control someone beliefs and thoughts this way, or how they "feel" about something.
And there you have mind control!
On the surface this commercial is as sweet and as heart felt as they come.
Which makes it very dangerous and effective.
So what looks innocent is more than likely the most evil commercial of the year.
