Mars Outpost as outlined in FY-89 Office of Exploration Annual Report, depicted during consolidation Phase. Projected time from start of Emplacement Phase to Consolidation Phase - 4 years with 4 years to complete consolidation and begin full utilization. Main components are a habitat module, pressurized rover dock/equipment lock, airlocks, and a 16-meter constructable (inflatable) habitat. Also visible in this image is a meteorological balloon, an unpressurized rover, a storage work area, a geophysical experiment area and a local area antenna. The Outpost is for 7 astronauts whose mission will focus on research related to Earth sciences such as mining of Mars and Phobos; life science research; advanced technical development; origin of life studies; and further solar system exploration. The "Rivers of Blood" speech was made by British Member of Parliament (MP) Enoch Powell on 20 April 1968, to a meeting of the Conservative Political Centre in Birmingham, England. His speech strongly criticised mass immigration, especially Commonwealth immigration to the United Kingdom and the proposed Race Relations Act. It became known as the "Rivers of Blood" speech, although Powell always referred to it as "the Birmingham speech". The former name alludes to a prophecy from Virgil's Aeneid which Powell quoted:

Enoch Powell was once interviewed and asked, "Do you understand why people call you a racist?"

His response, which was just as relevant then as it is today, was, "It is one of the modern terms of abuse. And the term of abuse is the more effective, the less defined it is. Then you can throw it at anybody and anything. But I find this word race very irrelevant in the British context. Indeed it's rather a word which we've borrowed from America."

I read Powell was, first and foremost, a trained classicist. When he was a member of the House of Commons, he took all of his notes in ancient Greek. Additionally, Powell was a brilliant polyglot, fluent in English, German, Welsh, ancient Greek, Latin, Hindi, and Urdu.

But the Regime doesn't stop at mere redefinition. It uses language to label and categorize, to separate and segregate. By assigning terms of derision or honor, it can elevate its allies and diminish its enemies, creating divisions that are both psychological and tangible. It's a subtle form of exile, one that doesn't require physical displacement. They are masters of conjuring "spells".
