I always research the author of any article. IMO she is too biased to take what she says objectively.
I'm not doing "Right or Left". I don't want to get into that, but objectivity is needed in opinion pieces IMO.
Assistant Secretary of the Treasury from 2019 to 2021.
I was surprised that Newsweek would allow it to be printed in their rag too, but wonders never cease. Monica Crowley is one I would consider to be leftward, right up there with Kinzinger and Liz Cheney, but leftward folks consider her a right winger. I reckon it's all a matter of perspective.
Objectivity is extremely rare in opinion pieces, and news in general these days - no news service seems to be able to resist the temptation to inject opinion and muddy fact with it, an attempt to impart "spin" to every news tale told. Almost all of the major news outlets, and many of the minor ones, approach shilling out pure opinion rather than objective news.
It seems that everyone tries to skew "fact" to fit their fantasies of what the world is or ought to be, and Ms. Crowley, being a Fox-trained shill, is no different.
