Just a few weeks ago, it was reported that commercial satellite imagery showed new tunneling activity and surface construction at Novaya Zemlya test sites that indicated possible preparation for resuming nuclear testing.
A 17th century traveller to the North, ship surgeon Pierre Martin de La Martinière gave a description of the indigenous population of the archipelago, whom he called Zembliens, from Nova Zembla or Nouvelle Zemble for "Novaya Zemlya". The noted that they worshipped the Sun and wooden idols. We are told that all civilian population was transferred to the mainland in 1957 before nuclear testing began.
October 6, 1889: The Moulin Rouge opened for the first time in the Montmartre district of Paris. Founded by French impresario, Charles Zidler & Spaniard entrepreneur Joseph Oller. Designed as a cabaret, theater, and music hall, patrons could witness a variety of entertainment, including singing, dancing, and circus acts. The venue is most famously associated with the can-can dance, an energetic and risqué dance that had its origins in the working class dance halls of Paris. To this day, audiences come from all over the world to witness the wonders that Moulin Rouge has to offer.

First issue was October 1978. It is wild when you think that Penthouse publishers Bob Guccione and his long time, largely unsung, partner Kathy Keeton were the creators of that magazine. It ceased publication abruptly in late 1997, following the death of co-founder Kathy Keeton.

The issue isn't "Do I adopt AI generative art now?" The issue is "If we adopt AI generative art now...what will happen to artists - and art - over the next 10 years?" Very soon you won't need a creative person in a company since the software will be the replacement of professionals, able to create any ad, in mere seconds for pennies.
