I feel ya Brother BIAD.

I DID call it though in the whistleblower thread.

I have been watching this sleight of hand shell game for 60 years now and I KNEW the govt was not going to reveal any secrets for public consumption.

I did have a small glimmer of hope that if anything was going to crack the wall of silence this would be it.

Not at all surprised that it didn't work though.

The Hearing's were similar to the manner Advertising Reps sell their wares on TV. A false paradigm representing
the real world, a viewer fully aware that the scene before them is imaginary and slightly tongue-in-cheek, but
humorous enough to hold one's attention for a few seconds.

The actual product on sale might be something a consumer could be tempted with and even find handy in their
day-to-day lives, but the gauche commercial it derived from is quickly forgotten as concerns for who killed JR
Ewing appears and the viewer's attention is led elsewhere.
