Anyways, on that note... The psyop shenagians with CENTCOM using fake accounts was verified already by WaPo earlier this year, regards to a conspiracy theory that Iran was harvesting the organs of Afghan refugees... Pentagon opens sweeping review of clandestine psychological operations Which makes that Newsweek story on the Pentagon's 60,000 clandestine army way more interesting now. The WaPo article framed examples like the CENTCOM organ-harvesting account as "oversights" but The Intercept has reported on eerily similar programs where the purpose was to spread disinformation to discredit adversaries, the goal of the CENTCOM account. The “Cuban Twitter” Scam Is a Drop in the Internet Propaganda Bucket DARPA also funded research into influence campaigns on Twitter so not much of a shock, although good to know. Here's a Guardian 2014 article on DARPA-funded influence studies coordinated under its Social Media in Strategic Communication initiative (itself first launched in 2011). Research in the DARPA studies was outsourced to universities. This recalls suggestions put forth by people like Cass Sunstein, who argued for "cognitive infiltration" of conspiracy communities in a 2008 paper. Sunstein went as far as to recommend the use of "fake identities" by "government agents." Conspiracy Theories by Cass Sunstein. Obviously, the spreading of unusual, bizarre ideas as disinformation is not a new concept. In the early 1950s as part of a psychological warfare campaign in the Philippines, intelligence officer Edward Lansdale exploited folk beliefs in the asuang, or vampire, in one village. Killing Hope-US Military and CIA Interventions Since WWII-William Blum (page 41) A few years later as part of Operation KUGOWN, the CIA's psywar campaign in Guatemala, the Agency asked its JMWAVE station in Miami to consider fabricating tabloid stories about "flying saucers" or "sextuplets" to dominant local news cycles. 89. Telegram From Operation PBSUCCESS Headquarters in Florida to the CIA Stations in Guatemala and [place not declassified] Much later, the USAF, possibly (probably) working with intelligence agencies, spread disinformation in the UFO community. One of the sadder examples of this was a decade-long harassment campaign of a defense contractor named Paul Bennewitz. The Guardian MIB The Art of Deception is worth checking out if you never seen it. Bear in mind this is all from 2014. If nothing else, consider that DARPA has a program devoted to exploring how to best exploit social media. Now place that in the context of American intelligence using spooky stories and conspiracy beliefs to wage psychological warfare. Havana Syndrome? UAPs? And on & on...Operation Obfuscation, a combined-effort task force exists only because there has to be a sub rosa factional initiative inside the "U.S. Military-Corporate-Intelligence-Complex." These stories are largely online phenomena, driven by engagement on sites like Facebook and Twitter. Polling suggests that the vast majority of Americans have never even heard of Havana Syndrome. Source: YouGov (PDF) When considering the spooky ideas that have seemingly manifested out of thin air within the last 5-6 years, remember that American intelligence agencies and the military have used these kinds of stories against people in other countries for decades. Why wouldn't they do it here? The company running these Twitter ops on behalf of Centcom, is COLSA, in Huntsville, Alabama; a close partner with another prominent military contractor, Elon Musk's SpaceX. Among COLSA's clients are NASA, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Missile Defense Agency. People ... smart like you are ... controlling other people, cutting them to fit their mold. They pretty much own the world and plan to keep owning it. I opened my mouth one time ... just one time. I was shut-up with such finesse (and instantly), that I actually realized what my place in the room was. An actual epiphany.

TWITTER FILES Round 10
https://twitter.com/davidzweig/status/16...6338340867 Thread Reader | Archived Be sure to read with an "abundance of caution". So they put everyone in a false reality not based on the data or what was actually happening, but what they wanted people to see and believe was happening...full afterburner gaslighting. Then they suspended & shadow banned those who didn’t go along with the narrative while leaving those who did active even if what they said was also false. MSM Doublespeak: If some national security officials had been worrying about a new virus in China & Italy since fall of 2019, how could they have possibly believed China's two-month lockdown of Wuhan eliminated the virus several months later? What a real inquiry into the Covid response would look like:

Kickin off the New Year with TWITTER FILES Round 11
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1610374789759205380 11. The GEC report appeared based on DHS data circulated earlier that week, and included accounts that followed “two or more” Chinese diplomatic accounts. They reportedly ended up with a list “nearly 250,000” names long, and included Canadian officials + military and a CNN account. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong.

Quote:The Mother of All Limited Hangouts has begun. Yes, I’m talking about the “Covid Twitter Files,” which are finally being released to the public, in almost textbook limited-hangout fashion. I’ll get into that in just a minute, but first, let’s review what a “limited hangout” is, for those who are not familiar with the term.

It's twitter acct went dead silent back in March 2019. They also ran the @DisinfoCloud. Dept of State Disinfo Cloud Like so many other Gov 'projects' they just change the name and continue.

Here we go again...Aside from some names & nefarious NGOs nothing really new that most of us already knew or suspected for a while now. And the selected "Censorship-Industrial Complex" nuggets edge close to the much darker side of it all that is probably coming in very near future.

Well, well, are we not surprised. Renée DiResta is a writer and research manager at Stanford Internet Observatory. She has also served as in advisor to the U.S. Congress on ongoing efforts to prevent online and social media disinformation. In 2015, Renée DiResta co-founded Vaccinate California, an organization designed to promote vaccination in California. Democrats are having a meltdown over "Twitter Files", again. LOL. Chaos erupts during the House (of clowns) Weaponization Committee hearing as unhinged Democrats try to coerce Twitter Files journalists to reveal their sources. https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/...9048613904 Matt Taibbi opening statement today on the Twitter Files: "...Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies developed a formal system for taking in moderation requests from every corner of government, from the FBI, DHS, HHS, DOD, Global Engagement Center... even the CIA." Twitter meltdown hysteria On the flip-side it seems that Elon is operating Twitter like an early-stage startup or more precisely a restart/Reset or as in my corporate days it was called a Re-Org which ALWAYS instills anxiety, fear, uncertainty among the worker bees and several can happen within a 12-18 month period across departments & divisions. Draining the swamp to restructure the business. Very few of the existing employees have any startup experience and as a result, they are in absolute state of shock, only the strong will survive as the late Intel CEO Andy Grove use to say and even wrote a book about it. This is corporate tech industry 101 tactics. Been there, done that numerous times and also a victim of it. In the world of 1984, "thinking for yourself" is considered neuro-divergent.
