REMOVING THE RIGHT TO VOTE IN EXCHANGE FOR NO MORE CONGRESS! THE DEATH OF DEMOCRACY!

Explanation: What if we all agreed to junk the right to vote in exchange for the death of representative democracy eh?

But maybe we only now need three of those boxes, although two of the boxes are also now currently defunct and no longer working as they are supposed to work and theoretically we could all just get away with using one box only, aka the AMMO BOX!

In the western hemisphere of geopolitics our various collective nations independently have about 40,000 LAWS each currently upon our legal books, that are used to regulate so called civil society, business and commerce within the nations borders!

That means expressdly that no one person can know and uphold all the laws as its just impossible to do so, and several journalists and authors have written about the fact that the average citizen commits on average 3 felonies [note: NOT misdemeanor] crimes per each day, and combine that with the fact that representative democracy politicians keep adding more and more laws /regulations to those legal books compounds the problem we face as citizens to a great degree!

Hence we no longer require any more laws, law makers and political lawyers to continue removing we the peoples inalienable rights and freedoms via democratically elected and selected political party pundits political postuerings and propaganda in a parliament, to all our detriment!

So here is the deal, we the people give up our rights to vote for these congress critters in exchange for those people no longer being able to enjoy insider trading their way to riches and conspiring against us all and depriving us all of our collective and individual freedoms.

i.e they're fired and can no longer game the system as it stands right now!

We would have to make do with federal, state and local public service servants maintaining the current status quo into the forseable future and their funding levels , paid for with our collective taxes, would be set in stone by previous decades of prior funding statistics and data!


Personal Disclosure: The idea I propose is not without its own set of problems BUT I think it still has merit and I for one would approve of the current status quo being set in stone for a long while!

I don't believe that my vote counts, that the fix is in, but I don't see gaining any liberty by giving up the votes. I vote so I can say I didn't vote for something, not so much that I want something to pass or someone to be elected into an office. The only power of my vote is that I never voted for something that passed or someone who got elected. All I can say is I did my part by voting; it's not much, and it may be absolutely nothing in the end, but I can say I tried.

The Political Overlords ™ in Virginia are taking a different plan. Their plan here is to KEEP their cushy government jobs (but for Leftists ONLY), and steal the votes and voices of half their "Democratic" electorate to maintain their gravy train.

The plan is to use the "democratic process" to silence half of their electorate altogether. You know, HALF of the people making up their alleged "democracy". The intent is to illegally force a vote (a "referendum") here to make Republican votes ineffective or utterly silent, so that only their pet Progressives get elected to congress.

They are doing that by forcing a vote to allow them to illegally gerrymander voting districts to give Democrats an unjust majority in ALL of the districts except one - and hey are leaving that one only because they could not find enough Democrats surrounding it to tip the scales within it.

This despite the fact that two years ago, Virginians voted to eliminate political gerrymandering here, and make politically slanted redistricting illegal. Now, just two short years later, those same folks are trying to break the law they championed in order to stack the deck massively in their own favor.

In Virginia, currently Democrats (through a massive foreign immigration into the northern part of the sate) have a slim majority - 52% vs. 48% for the Republicans... but, in a "democracy", that is enough. 52% of the population can entirely eliminate the rights of the other 48% through a mere vote - they can vote YOUR rights entirely away

That's the problem with "democracy" - rights mean nothing if they can stack the bullshit high enough to just vote YOUR rights away.

Which is why the founders, in their wisdom, gave us a republic instead of a Democracy... but now that is being entirely ignored in favor of a massive communist takeover and the elimination of individual rights.

So, yeah, I'm good with burning "democracy" entirely to the ground. It's only purpose is to lay the chains of slavery on half of an entire population by the other "privileged" half.

I would agree with you, except I'm on the way out, and the generations taking over want plenty & ease,
 and so long as those willing to take advantage of the 'plebians'
  remain among us...
    they will continue promising and failing and blaming,
     and...getting wealthier - virtually, across the board.
But every new wave of 'plebian' emerges from school,
 freshly showered and glowing with enthusiasm
  for the new revolution
   and those 545'ers are locked-in
    to their social media and its influence...

Barring Thanos' arrival in the skies
 I don't see a lot of hope in where this is headed.
  (Meaning, I don't see "We, The People" getting together to live without all this stuff
     and, our social lives, and access to everything, everywhere, all the time...long enough,
      to even give it a chance to take root. 
    M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village" is one view of how such an idea could pan out.
     - spoiler alert - going to give away part of the plot, so, look away, if you don't want to know...but,
       It didn't even survive one generation without falling on its own sword.)
