Great story.  Magnificent castle.  Story teller and his wanderings was an eye opener.  Paintings depicting the legend including the bridle rock and castle were very beautiful.  I'll be looking more into Bamburgh Castle.  Astounding build.

'A man has been spotted casually strolling down Newham High Street with two camels. Images
and videos shared on social media show the camels walking down the East London road on Friday,
February 23.


There are no words.

The animals were seen on the busy road with many residents stopping in their tracks with confusion.
The man riding one of the camels was seen singing to a camera as people in tracksuits walked alongside
the animal, sparking rumours that they are involved in the filming of a music video.

Although, it is not clear for what song or who this artist it. The camels can be seen to be led down the road,
walking in front of two London buses. In the images one of the camels is adorned with a saddle and red
blanket while it is led by its snout that is covered in brightly coloured pom poms. Many social media users
couldn't believe their eyes and were amused by the mammals appearance.

One X (formerly Twitter) user, David O'Leary said: "I’d have the right hump." Monega Primary school als
posted: "What’s the most unexpected and interesting moment you’ve had in the area around your school?
Camels on the high street definitely goes at the top of the list for us!"

Bizarrely enough, these are not the first camels that have been paraded around London streets in recent
months. In December, a woman was seen taking a camel for a stroll through Chingford, in what looked
like a scene straight from the nativity. Camels are far more used to living in sandy desert climates but
these camels seemed to have swapped the hot weather for the ever changing London conditions...'

'An evil killer has been jailed for life after killing his girlfriend and three members of her family.
Joshua Jacques has been caged for a minimum of 46 years for the brutal stabbing of his partner
Samantha Drummonds, 27, her mum Tanysha Ofori-Akuffo, 45, gran Dolet Hill, 64, and her
partner Denton Burke, 58.

Jacques claimed he stabbed all four relatives to death as part of a "sacrifice".

His frenzied attack in Bermondsey, South London, on April 24, 2022, was fuelled by drugs and
alcohol. The Old Bailey heard Samantha had called her friend on the morning of the horror wit
concerns about her boyfriend's mental state.

In a voice note left at around 11.30am, she said: "Josh is basically getting to the point where he
could basically have an episode, like I don't know what's triggered him." At around 7.25pm, jurors
heard she told her friend they were trying to get medication to calm Jacques down.

Samantha then spoke to her pal just over two hours later to say "he seems calm now", it was said.
The court heard how the following morning, Denton was found by police at the foot of the stairs with
one or more knives also discovered. The three women were then found dead in the kitchen with
multiple stab wounds.

Jacques, from Lewisham, South East London, previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter and denied
murder. But today, the Old Bailey sentenced him to life for all four killings...'

The incident happened around midday on Sunday at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

of Queen Victoria and sprayed painted the word c*** on the plinth at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery
and Museum.


'Food insecurity'... by pouring food over a piece of stone.

Sorcha Ni Mhairtin, 30, and Hannah Taylor, 23 from This Is Rigged carried out the actions around
midday, before reportedly gluing themselves to the plinth. The group said it carried out the act to
protest against increasing food insecurity.

Ms Ni Mhairtin, an Irish activist and community food worker in Glasgow, said: “We refuse to be
dragged back to the Victorian era. “Diseases of starvation including scurvy and rickets are on the rise.
“Freedom begins with breakfast and if you can’t understand that, we’ll shove it in your face.
“Food is a human right, and we call out the rotten systems under which we are suffering.”

Other stunts carried out by the group this year include occupying the royal dining room at the Palace
of Holyroodhouse. This is Rigged has said it will continue to carry out similar actions until its demands
are met, which include supermarkets reducing the price of baby formula to March 2021 prices and the
Scottish Government funding and implementing a community food hub in every 500 households in
Scotland. PA reached out to the museum, who declined to comment.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland told PA: “Around 11.55am on Sunday March 3 2024, police
were called to a report of a protest and alleged vandalism within Kelvingrove Art Gallery and
Museum, Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow.

“Two women, aged 23 and 30 years, have been arrested and charged following the incident.
“They have been released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”...'

About 4400 years ago, around 2400 BC, a vast wave of migrations from the continent started replacing the native Neolithic people of Britain, bringing bronze technology with them to replace the Neolithic stone technology... and bringing their genetic material to replace the natives with as well.. Within about 100 years, 90% of the Neolithic peoples had vanished, and were replaced by Continentals.

Then again, around 3000 years ago, circa 1000 BC, there was another huge wave of migrations from the continent, and the culture of Britain underwent another massive transformation, as the incoming newcomers brought in iron technology and all the cultural trappings that went with it.

Around 2000 years ago, Britain was invaded by Rome. The native Briton culture was replaced by the Roman culture of the conquerors, and a hybrid "Romano-British" culture developed as the Ovelords from Rome forced themselves on the British.

About 1600 years ago, Rome abandoned the British, leaving them to their own devices, and the Jutes, Angles, and Saxons took their turn with Britannia.

About 1000 years ago, it was the Danes coming to conquer, then settling down..

We know all this from the archaeological record. Each successive wave of conquerors and immigrants left their footprints under the sod.

1000 years from now, will Muslim scholars be digging in the dirt, looking for the time stamp to celebrate THEIR conquest of Britain? Trying to firm up the date when Britain became Islamic?

Kinda makes me wonder if the Neolithic peoples of Britain were accused of "racism" as well, as they watched their own culture and people, their entire way of life, vanish into the mists churned up by the invading Continentals.

be still well-hidden. Why -during a storm on 28th September of 2023, did someone take it upon themselves
to travel along the remote B6318 road with a chainsaw, cross the windy moorland and lashing rain or arrive
at Sycamore Gap by other means, and commit the act of cutting down the famed tree...?

'Two men in their 30s have been arrested and bailed by officers investigating the felling of the
world-famous Sycamore Gap tree, Northumbria Police has said. The tree in Northumberland,
believed to have been about 300 years old, was cut down overnight between September 27
and 28 in what police believe was a deliberate act of vandalism.

Soon after the tree was felled a 16-year-old male and a 60-year-old man were arrested and later
bailed. Detective Chief Inspector Rebecca Fenney-Menzies, of Northumbria Police, said: “The loss
of Sycamore Gap has been felt deeply across the community as well as further afield...'

'...Believed to have been planted by Newcastle philanthropist and lawyer John Clayton in the second
half of the 19th century, it was also known as Robin Hood Tree after it made an appearance in the
1991 Kevin Costner film.

Mr Clayton was a keen excavator of Hadrian’s Wall and was thought to have planted the tree to fill
the dip on landscape which was created by glacial meltwater. Its trunk was removed from the location
on 12 October and is currently being stored in an undisclosed location, until its fate is decided...'

There's an update on the culprits who weathered a storm to to vent their lust of vandalism.
The suspects are both from Carlisle, over 50 miles away from where they felled the tree and
the reason still remains unknown.

'Two men have been charged in connection with the felling of the famous Sycamore Gap tree.
Daniel Graham, 38, and Adam Carruthers, 31, have been charged with causing criminal damage
after the tree was cut down last September.

They have both also been charged with causing criminal damage to Hadrian's Wall and are due to
appear at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on 15 May. There was a national outcry when the much-loved,
200-year-old Northumberland tree, which stood next to Hadrian's Wall, was found to have been cut down.

Northumbria Police made a number of arrests in the wake of the felling of the tree, which happened
overnight on 27 and 28 September. A teenager and man in his 60s were later both told that they will
face no further action.

Teams from the National Trust collected material at the scene, which they hoped could be "viable for
propagating" - or to produce new saplings and trees directly from the Sycamore Gap. Officials said they
are also "hoping" the trunk of the original tree could still regrow - but it could be three years before they
know whether this is a possibility. Seeds collected from the Sycamore Gap tree after it was felled last
year are beginning to spring into life.

Man’s hands nailed to fence in ‘sinister attack’ in Co Antrim, say police

'A man has been left with potentially life-changing injuries after both his hands were nailed to
a fence in an attack in County Antrim. The PSNI has described the incident in Bushmills in the
early hours of Sunday as “sinister” and “brutal”.



Police received a report shortly after midnight that a man, aged in his 20s, had been found with
his hands nailed to a fence, with one nail through each hand. The man also had injuries to his nose.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition on Sunday morning was described as not life-threatening.

Police who attended the incident said two vans parked in the public car park near Dundarave Park
had been set on fire. One of the vehicles belonged to the man who had been assaulted. Firefighters
attended to extinguish the fires and both vans sustained extensive damage.

Officers said graffiti found on a nearby gable wall of a public toilets building was being linked to the
assault and arson. In a statement, the PSNI said: “This was a sinister attack which has left this man
with potentially life-changing injuries.

“Everyone has the right to live their life free from the threat of violence and this brutal attack by people
who violate the human rights of others must be universally condemned. “We live in a democratic society
where there is no justification for this. Those responsible brutalise their own communities and control
others through intimidation and violence.

“This happened in a residential area with a number of holiday lets which would be busy during this bank
holiday weekend and we are asking anyone who noticed anything or who may have dashcam footage to
contact us urgently on 101 or confidently to Crimestoppers.”

Alliance MLA for North Antrim Sian Mulholland described the attack as “especially appalling”.
“My first thoughts are with the victim of this serious assault,” she said. “The nature of this attack was
especially appalling and has left the victim with potentially life-altering injuries. It is not acceptable
under any circumstances to brutally assault someone in this manner and I hope the man makes a
full recovery.

“There is no place for this violence in Bushmills, North Antrim or anywhere else in Northern Ireland.”
TUV leader and North Antrim MLA Jim Allister condemned the incident, saying there was no place for
mob rule. “I express my dismay at the gruesome and cruel attack carried out in the village,” he said...'

It seems this is a common occurrence in North Ireland. The natives seem to have their own system for dealing with local infractions.

I grew up in the backwoods of the American south, where the natives sometimes felt the need to expedite justice.

I fear that here in America that the increase in lawlessness and lost of trust by the American people in a governmental system that is corrupt, and is not concerned with the safety or well-being of the people, that street justice will be on the rise.

Another stone in downfall of America, just as planned.

Gaza ceasefire

'Jess Phillips has suggested she received “quicker” NHS treatment because she voted in favour
of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Ms Phillips, the minister for safeguarding and violence against
women and girls, has reportedly suggested her stance on the conflict had helped speed up her
care when a Palestinian doctor treated her during a visit to an A&E department at a Birmingham
hospital.

The MP for Birmingham Yardley quit her shadow ministerial role in November last year when
Labour was in opposition to vote in favour of an immediate ceasefire. Ms Phillips was one of
eight frontbenchers and dozens of backbench Labour MPs who defied Sir Keir Starmer on the
issue after he had instructed them not to vote for an SNP amendment calling for an immediate
ceasefire.

Labour MPs were told to vote for a Labour amendment instead, which called for longer pauses
in the conflict to deliver aid, stopping short of calling for a full ceasefire. According to the Daily
Mail, Ms Phillips recounted how her vote had seemingly played a role in her health treatment
during an event billed as An Evening with Jess Phillips, held at Kiln Theatre in north London.

Ms Phillips reportedly said she had gone to A&E because she was having trouble breathing
and that the department was very busy and chaotic.

“I have genuinely seen better facilities, health facilities, in war zones, in developing countries
around the world,” she said. Describing the situation when she got to the front of the queue,
she said: “I got through because of who I am. Also, the doctor who saw me was Palestinian,
as it turns out. Almost all the doctors in Birmingham seemed to be.”

She said: “He was sort of like, ‘I like you. You voted for a ceasefire’. [Because of that] I got
through quicker.”

Biggest rebellion
The Gaza ceasefire vote in November 2023 represented the biggest rebellion of Sir Keir’s
leadership. In her resignation letter to Sir Keir, Ms Phillips said: “I must vote with my
constituents, my head, and my heart which has felt as if it were breaking over the last
four weeks with the horror of the situation in Israel and Palestine.

“I see no route where the current military action does anything but put at risk the hope of
peace and security for anyone in the region now and in the future.”
She returned to the Labour frontbench after the party’s general election victory.

I welcome such folks to the Appalachian Mindset.

I live in a place where we have NEVER particularly had any faith in government. Every since the Whiskey Rebellion, when a newly instituted government that WE put in place tried to come down on us like the wrath of God, we have realized that they are there for themselves, NOT for "us", nor do they have any interest in our well-being so long as they are getting theirs at our expense.

We feel like we got a bad deal in The Revolution, and it has only been getting worse since then.

So, we take care of business ourselves, and try to involve government shock-troops as little as possible. When they come in, you never know what you're gonna get.

To be sue, this area WAS settled mostly by Irishmen and Scots, with some Germans and a few of the more adventurous Englishmen thrown in for good measure. But mostly, the Celtic races. They came out here precisely to GET AWAY from government interference, to a place where they could handle their own affairs unencumbered, and they've been doing that ever since.

I did notice that the original article never mentioned what infraction the "poor unfortunate" may have committed. I also noticed how the government types uniformly circled the wagons and said that there was "no place" for control by threats of violence... mostly, I believe, because they think that is THEIR exclusive provenance, and they hold a dim view of "the people" honing in on THEIR territory. It also did not escape my notice that they claimed there is "no place for mob rule" in a "democracy"... but what IS a "democracy" if not mob rule? When 51% of a population can dictate how to live and what to do to the other 49%, how is that NOT "mob rule"? When they do so via a police force and military constantly threatening the other half to "stay in line with the program", how is that NOT "rule by threats of violence"?

So, "street justice" it is. Government, you are on notice that "you never come back from Copperhead Road".

Seven ‘cruel and manipulative’ men latest jailed for sexual abuse of girls in Rotherham

Tribute paid to bravery of victims to tell their stories and confront abusers



'Seven men were jailed for sexually abusing two girls in Rotherham in the latest convictions under
the UK’s biggest-ever law enforcement operation against child sex abuse. The defendants regularly
picked up the victims in their cars and gave them cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis and money, Sheffield
Crown Court heard.

The girls would then be assaulted, forced to perform sexual acts or raped. One of the girls was taken to
a hotel where she was raped by two men, the National Crime Agency (NCA) said. On another occasion
the same girl was locked inside one of her abuser’s homes, raped on at least two occasions and only
managed to escape by climbing out of a window.

The seven men are the latest to be convicted following an investigation by the NCA’s Operation Stovewood,
which is looking at abuse which took place in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013. The NCA said this case
covers “some of the worst offending we have investigated under Operation Stovewood”.

Most harrowing abuse possible
The agency said Mohammed Amar, Mohammed Siyab, Yasser Ajaibe, Mohammed Zameer Sadiq, Abid
Saddiq, Tahir Yassin and Ramin Bari were jailed on Thursday and Friday for the offences which were
committed between April 2003 and April 2008.

A Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spokesman said Amar, Ajaibe, Sadiq and Sayib abused one victim, and
Yassin and Bari abused the other. Saddiq, who was already serving a 20-year prison sentence for sexual
offences in Rotherham handed down in 2019, abused both girls.

The two victims were aged 11 and 15 when the offending began, the CPS said, and both spent time in the
care system. NCA senior investigating officer Stuart Cobb said: “These men were cruel and manipulative,
grooming their victims and then exploiting them by subjecting them to the most harrowing abuse possible.

“They were responsible for some of the worst offending we have investigated under Operation Stovewood.
“I can only once again pay tribute to the victims who were brave enough to come forward, tell their stories
and confront their abusers.” Zoe Becker, for the CPS, said: “These seven men deliberately preyed on two
young girls they knew were vulnerable and, using drugs and alcohol, exploited them for their own sexual
gratification.

Courage and fortitude
“The cruelty and abuse the victims suffered at the hands of these defendants was horrific and has continued
to have a lasting impact on their lives today. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank both the victims for
coming forward and giving evidence. This has been a complex and challenging case, and it is because of their
courage and fortitude that we have been able to bring these offenders to justice.”

Operation Stovewood was set up in the wake of the landmark Jay Report which found in 2014 that at least
1,400 girls were abused by gangs of men of mainly Pakistani heritage in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013.

Thirty-six people have so far been convicted as a result of the operation, which the NCA says is the single largest
law enforcement operation of its kind ever undertaken in the UK. Last year, the NCA announced that new allegations
would be handled by South Yorkshire Police rather than Operation Stovewood, saying it had identified more than
1,100 children involved in the exploitation between 1997 and 2013 – almost all girls.

The agency said it remains committed to seeing its current investigations through to the end of the criminal justice
process, which is anticipated to continue into 2027. Previous estimates have put the cost of Operation Stovewood
at about £90 million...'
