If the UK is strapped for cash, they might settle for everything south of a line drawn through Manchester in lieu of the  2 trillion in cash. That would give them a pretty good beachhead to take the rest of the UK by force, and once they've taken Norther Ireland the rest of Ireland would be a cinch, since it would be effectively cut off from all sources of military assistance.

So uh...um...what is the legitimacy/reason of reparations because there has never been a palestine state before ?  Secondly, they belonged to Jordan , which did not want them build palastinian state there. Thirdly , the so called " Palestinians" refused 3-4 times with real deals giving them a land in Israel .....they refused all!

Actually, this is around the Central Station in Milan, where the thugs were trying to enter to stop the train traffic. This was not because Meloni did not recognize Palestine, but today a great strike was held all over Italy to protest against the war in Gaza, and in Milan a large group of protesters tried to enter the station, but the police forces blocked them. Reports were saying many agitators looked to be from North Africa.

Many nations are now recognizing "Palestine" out of emotion & fear, mostly fear of the malignancy they imported brought into popular front with the usual suspects in the EuroLeft. The UK, Canada, Australia, France, and others are recognizing something that doesn’t even exist - thin air. They’d be better off investing these efforts in recognizing "Taiwan".

With Israel intent on absorbing the Palestinian territories into a greater Israel the likelihood is many if not most of those displaced will be brought to Europe and the UK , we are already accepting injured Palestinian children and the families in the UK , those and others who follow will then be here for the rest of their lives as there is nowhere to return them too.

As I see it we are recognising the State of Palestine in an attempt to stop that happening , Netanyahu is a criminal who used October 8th (an attack Israel knew was coming) to do what he has ideologically wanted to do throughout his political career.

I want the Palestinians living in their own State not mine.
