That time of year again in the Swiss Alps. Over 2,500 delegates, 5,000 armed security and over 2,000 individual private flights will fly into a Swiss ski resort for the World Economic Forum Davos 2023... to tell the rest of us to stop taking flights, stop driving petrol cars, ban gas stoves, and stop eating real meat, blah, blah.
Going through this latest WEF document...they have so many plans for us. None of them we asked for. Skimming through it puts me in a mood to watch another dystopian sci-fi flick...is that bad?
Demolition of the West: The WEF's own Global Risk Report 2023 admits that the transition to Net Zero "adaptation will be painful for everyone" and that "the end of the era of cheap carbon energy is inevitable."
Disasters from natural hazards are among the top 3 risks, in the short term AND long term. In the next 10 years, climate-related risks occupy the first three positions.
Oh boy, they are not happy and who better to craft such a report by none other than a Swiss insurance company.
A stormy decade to come, warns the World Economic Forum Geoeconomic confrontation (wars over scarce resources), and the erosion of social cohesion are among the largest risks facing us over the next decade. Standby for heavy rolls, they'll really be kicking & screaming this year.
Above link is a summary of the Full...
What might the next 2 years have in store for people around the world? WEF wants us to know...
What we see & feel now is going to continue rest of decade and likely become worse, as an economic era ends, the next will bring more risks of stagnation, divergence and distress. Who knows what's in the pipeline of manufactured events, probably another planscamdemic, cascading tensions of multi-domain conflicts and asymmetric warfare between China, Taiwan, Russia, Israel, Iran, N. Korea, Pakistan/India and if too many rogues get in the way of their Saturian Death Cult final solution...well use your imagination.
To hell with them all. Come & get me.

Global Risk Report 2023
The Global Risks Report 2023 presents the results of the latest Global Risks Perception Survey (GRPS). We use three time frames for understanding global risks. Chapter 1 considers the mounting impact of current crises (i.e. global risks which are already unfolding) on the most severe global risks that many expect to play out over the short term (two years). Chapter 2 considers a selection of risks that are likely to be most severe in the long term (10 years), exploring newly emerging or rapidly accelerating economic, environmental, societal, geopolitical and technological risks that could become tomorrow’s crises. Chapter 3 imagines mid-term futures, exploring how connections between the emerging risks outlined in previous sections may collectively evolve into a “polycrisis” centred around natural resource shortages by 2030. The report concludes by considering perceptions of the comparative state of preparedness for these risks and highlighting enablers to charting a course to a more resilient world. Below are key findings of the report.
