Pilot Chuck Coleman Killed in New Mexico Air Show Crash

Me being old as dirt now, I wonder how I survived my derring-do of youth; sometimes fun and work has a deadly price !  RIP Chuck as that was better way to go than an old folks home IMO.

In New Mexico, a single-engine plane whizzed upwards before twirling upside down in a dazzling display of showmanship. As the plane leveled out, something went wrong. It somersaulted out of control before taking a deadly nosedive. On board was famous pilot Chuck Coleman, who helped train the cast of the blockbuster film "Top Gun: Maverick," starring Tom Cruise. Rescuers raced to the scene, but it was too late.

When not working myself and a few friends would fly-in and display our Super Swift aircraft... The airshow was always well done and we had front row standing room or sat on our aircraft !!

Geez $50 for a ticket !! I never had to pay !!
