I have watched several reaction videos. They all make the same mistake. Like this woman, they talk about how horrible it is for those children over seas, that are fighting for their lives every day.
What they still cannot accept, is that this is going on right here in America. It is not just the poor children over seas. It could be the kid next door, and the kids that your children play with and attend school with.
I want to see the movie, but I don't want to bring my bias to the message. As a Forensic Nurse, I get to see way too often the evil that lurks in the heart of men. Close up, in the face, and it is a battle to keep it from being personal. Burnout is rampant, and the turn over rate is insane.
As triggering as most of those that post their reactions say the movie is, I am afraid that it is highly sugar coated. Those that oppose the movie say that it is a movie that over plays the statistics, and over hypes the message. I can assure you that there is no way it is over hyped, because if they just stuck to the truth, there would be no way that the movie could have been made. The truth is so disgustingly evil, vile, and mind damaging, that no actor could play the part and no studio would back it. So I am sure that the movie has to have been severely watered down.
