Hard to get a grasp on what is truly going on over there right now, both sides lie 150% of the time, media lies 120% of the time, and private individual reports are either mostly true from a limited perspective, or 500% lies/propaganda/cheerleading.
I can't really add anything to this, as Mr Cochran lays it out pretty well.
