We ARE surrounded by good people!

I know, if you go out in public these days or muck around in social media it can seem quite dark and you wonder if something has gotten in the water with all the dark and lost and even evil people you frequently encounter these days.

But fear not I think it's a case of the squeaky wheel gets the attention situation.

Here is a huge ongoing stream of the nicest people you would ever want to meet (and their new family members too!) that surround us every day! 

When this group put out the call on facebook for help, all of these people raised their hands and said "I will!"

But fear not I think it's a case of the squeaky wheel gets the attention situation.

Here is a huge ongoing stream of the nicest people you would ever want to meet (and their new family members too!) that surround us every day!

I only use Facebook when one of my crits gets loose and I can't locate them, but the moment I sound the alarm, folk in my area are on the hunt. When the word goes out that someone's animal is missing, from tortoise to chickens, horses, dogs, pigs, to anything in the animal kingdom that anyone has made a pet, if seen they will be posted, held if the can catch them, and are reunited with their pets.

I can say the same about calls for help for families in my area. We have arranged housing for individuals, and families from paying for hotel stays to to paying up to six months rent for those that have asked the church or community for help.

There are numerous programs and people providing assistance for those with legitimate needs and really want help.

You are quite right. There are a lot of good people out there and all around you. I try very hard to hold on to my humanity, and compassion for all living things.

I will also admit that I sometimes meet challenges with those that seem demon processed.
