Chinese Civil Servants Are Collapsing: Not Paid for 9 Months, - 727Sky - 07-09-2023 Quote:Since the outbreak of the pandemic in mainland China, the economy has been in a standstill, with news of massive salary cuts for civil servants, teachers, and public-sector employees beginning to surface in 2020. In June 2022, Chinese financial news website Caixin.com reported that civil servants across many eastern coastal areas of China had been hit by a wave of salary cuts. Various self-established bonus subsidies were cancelled, with civil servant salaries being reduced by around 20 to 30 percent. The report indicated that civil servants in Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu were severely affected. A section-level cadre in Longhua District, Shenzhen, estimated that their income would be cut by more than 20 percent. Previously, with bonuses and subsidies, their annual income could reach about 370,000 yuan. In Southern Jiangsu, a deputy section-level cadre experienced a salary cut of approximately 25%, reducing their take-home pay by about 100,000 yuan. Meanwhile, a grassroots section staff member in a town in Ningbo, Zhejiang, had their bonus, which accounted for 40% of their income, completely cut off. RE: Chinese Civil Servants Are Collapsing: Not Paid for 9 Months, - F2d5thCav - 07-09-2023 If they're having issues with paying salaries, two thoughts come to mind. * Too many bureaucrats, most of them probably useless CCP bilge; * Too much money going to projects trying to make China the world superpower like prep to invade Taiwan, "Belt and Road" investments, etc. Trying to catch up to a superpower after centuries of entrenched corruption is an expensive undertaking. People paid for a condo or a house sometimes for years and the contractors never even started the building and kept the money from the pedestrians who have no legal recourse. RE: Chinese Civil Servants Are Collapsing: Not Paid for 9 Months, - Michigan Swamp Buck - 07-09-2023 I wonder, if that wonderful communist system with the social credit scores and state ownership, the one that the world leaders are chomping on the bit to start in the West, is that failing in a big way now? Also, will any other country that is trying to do the same learn this lesson unfolding in China? Or will it be more like they will use this to tweak the NWO/WEF plans to try and avoid the fate that will fall on all forms of communism (as history has shown in the past)? Perhaps a communist lite made palatable with word smithing and a better brand of propaganda will be all that they will need to get the livestock into the slaughterhouse. RE: Chinese Civil Servants Are Collapsing: Not Paid for 9 Months, - F2d5thCav - 07-09-2023 MSB-- Seems like they have a lot of livestock in the USA rarin' to go into that house. Strikes me as bizarre. Cheers |
