How about we turn off all the gas supplies there? I'm sure solar would save them. LOL ! RE: Oregon county sues fossil fuel companies for heat wave in Northwest - Ninurta - 06-23-2023 What a ridiculous notion! First, their voodoo "science" isn't anywhere near accurate enough to reach such conclusions or to have made the specific predictions they allege, and second, where is the mention of any losses incurred by the county? Dead people are certainly losses, but not losses of the county, nor are the grounds to give the county standing in a suit. This suit should be legitimately thrown out of court for lack of standing. It's just another harassment suit... but if I were the CEO of any of the "defendant" companies, I would immediately respond by cutting off all fuel sales in the affected area. You don't want to burn my fuel? Fine. Then don't burn it. I can find somewhere else to sell it, no sweat. Y'all just get to fending for yerselves without it! . . |
