Let us talk about the Schumann resonance. The Schumann resonance is called Earth's heartbeat. Some scientist believe it affects the way we feel and behave. So maybe the answer to why we are experiencing so much recent craziness on our planet right now is just a heart beat away.

Quote:Schumann Resonance

At any given moment about 2,000 thunderstorms roll over Earth, producing some 50 flashes of lightning every second. Each lightning burst creates electromagnetic waves that begin to circle around Earth captured between Earth's surface and a boundary about 60 miles up. Some of the waves - if they have just the right wavelength - combine, increasing in strength, to create a repeating atmospheric heartbeat known as Schumann resonance. This resonance provides a useful tool to analyze Earth's weather, its electric environment, and to even help determine what types of atoms and molecules exist in Earth's atmosphere.

The waves created by lightning do not look like the up and down waves of the ocean, but they still oscillate with regions of greater energy and lesser energy. These waves remain trapped inside an atmospheric ceiling created by the lower edge of the "ionosphere" - a part of the atmosphere filled with charged particles, which begins about 60 miles up into the sky. In this case, the sweet spot for resonance requires the wave to be as long (or twice, three times as long, etc) as the circumference of Earth. This is an extremely low frequency wave that can be as low as 8 Hertz (Hz) - some one hundred thousand times lower than the lowest frequency radio waves used to send signals to your AM/FM radio. As this wave flows around Earth, it hits itself again at the perfect spot such that the crests and troughs are aligned. Voila, waves acting in resonance with each other to pump up the original signal.

While they'd been predicted in 1952, Schumann resonances were first measured reliably in the early 1960s. Since then, scientists have discovered that variations in the resonances correspond to changes in the seasons, solar activity, activity in Earth's magnetic environment, in water aerosols in the atmosphere, and other Earth-bound phenomena.

I find cymatics intriguing. So what does the Schumann resonance cymatic pattern look like?

Got it for you.

Formed by shining circular light down over the surface of a dish of water. It was then vibrated to one of the schumann resonance frequencies. The pattern formed when there is resonance.

Quote:The Schumann Resonance is Earth's resonant vibrational frequency. The Earth has an electromagnetic field surrounding and protecting all living things with a natural frequency pulsation of 7.83 hertz, along with progressively weaker harmonics at around 14.3, 20.8, 27.3, and 33.8 Hz. These oscillations are called the Schumann resonances.

No wonder I've always been fascinated with lightning. Oddly, it has somehow always made me feel "alive" (I literally stopped and thought about the right word for that). I've always loved a good lightning storm, and no, it does not scare me like it does most. Now,  it'll make me jump when it hits 'too close.' But otherwise I find it quite serene.
Maybe I've been feeling that "heartbeat" throughout my life...

8Hz is an extremely low frequency or ELF. I wonder what that does to the mind and body.

Since you asked.

Quote:Brainwaves change with a healthy person's conscious and unconscious mental activity and state of arousal. But scientists can do more with brainwaves than just listen in on the brain at work-they can selectively control brain function by transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). This technique uses powerful pulses of electromagnetic radiation beamed into a person's brain to jam or excite particular brain circuits.

Quote:Alpha Waves of Brain

Alpha waves fluctuate at a rate of eight to 12 cycles per second (Hertz). These brainwaves reflect a person's state of arousal and attention. Alpha waves are generally regarded as an indicator of reduced mental effort, "cortical idling" or mind wandering. But this conventional view is perhaps an oversimplification. Croft, for example, argues that the alpha wave is really regulating the shift of attention between external and internal inputs. Alpha waves increase in power when a person shifts his or her consciousness of the external world to internal thoughts; they also are the key brainwave signatures of sleep.

Audio extraction with PhotoSounder from the Schumann Resonance anomaly sounds a bit weird and a bit neat.

Burns thinks he has an explanation for the recent Schumann Resonance anomaly.

RE: The Craziest Schumann Resonances Yet! - EndtheMadnessNow - 06-21-2023

Wall of text I had from a few years ago when I tumbled down the Schumann rabbit hole...sorry for any repeat of NightskyeB4Dawn posts.

1947: Physicist Winfried Otto Schumann (May 20, 1888 – September 22, 1974) was a German physicist who predicted the low-frequency resonances caused by lightning discharges in the atmosphere that became known as Schumann resonances.

In 1933 when the SS (Schutzstaffel) became more powerful; a ban is placed on German Secret societies and groups like Thule become dissolved (went deep underground). The SS take an interest in Winfried Otto Schumann's anti-matter research. The following year he worked on anti-matter research for the Thule-Vril RFZ "Rundflugzeug" (Round Aircraft) aka Nazi flying discs program. Shortly after the Germans were conquered Schumann was brought to the US, under Operation Paperclip and enrolled as "War Department Special Employee". Guess where? Wright Patterson Air Force Base. After his ~2 year stay, Schumann was returned to Munich, Germany.

Schumann postulated that the ionosphere is a cavity resonator in which standing electromagnetic waves with specific resonance frequencies occur. He studied this phenomenon, taking into account damping and excitation of the resonances by lightning, in a series of articles between 1952 and 1957. These resonant waves are named after him as Schumann resonances and were experimentally verified in 1960. He only published in German.

The existence of such resonances was already postulated earlier and  described by Nikola Tesla, without being able to classify them systematically. Later, in a series of papers from 1952 to 1957, Schumann further researched the phenomenon, taking into account the damping and excitation of the resonances by lightning.

The electromagnetic waves are slightly masked locally by artificially generated alternating fields. When measuring the frequency spectrum in this low-frequency range, stronger artificially generated waves can also be observed, e.g. the frequencies of the European and American power grids (50 Hz and 60 Hz respectively) and American and Russian submarine communication systems (76 Hz and 82 Hz respectively).

Lengthy research paper:
Quote:Abstract

The life and work of Winfried Otto Schumann and the historical development of the main ideas leading to the hypothesis of Earth-ionosphere cavity electromagnetic oscillations are reviewed. The so-called Schumann resonances are a set of frequencies of electromagnetic waves in the natural cavity formed by a planet's (moon's) surface and its ionosphere, in the extremely low frequency (ELF) range, caused by natural electrical activity of the planet (moon) and/or its atmospheric environment. Additionally, the reception of his work by the contemporary scientific community as well as the experimental evidence for the postulated ELF resonance oscillations is described.

Synopsis of the historical development of Schumann resonances

Quote:Schumann Resonance And The Time Speeding Up Phenomenon

Time is actually speeding up (or collapsing). For thousands of years the Schumann Resonance or pulse (heartbeat) of Earth has been 7.83 cycles per second, The military have used this as a very reliable reference. However, since 1980 this resonance has been slowly rising. Some scientists believe that it is rising faster than we can measure seeing as it is constantly rising while measuring.

Schumann Resonances, Electro Magnetism, and the Brain (old ATS thread)

I was curious as to what exactly Schumann did at Wright-Patterson Air Force base and could not find much, at least not in English. I came a cross a paper written by someone from the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland:

Quote:Shortly after the end of the war, on July 26, 1945, Schumann was nterrogated in Munich by the mixed US-British military committee CIOS (Combined Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee). In the CIOS262 document, made available recently, one can find a description of the state of his research in the field of construction of carbonated lamps and switching systems at the Munich laboratory (Ramm and Mullett 1945). Schumann is positively verified and returns to work at the university. In an atmosphere of normalisation, in 1947, he became a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences. However, he is soon unexpectedly taken to the Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio.

His two-year stay in the USA is shrouded in mystery. In 1949 Schumann returns to Munich and once again takes the position of a professor of physics at the university, which he will keep until he withdraws from active research at the age of 75.

In 1952 he unexpectedly begins publishing a series of works on the Earth-ionosphere cavity (Schumann 1952a, b, c; 1954, 1956). The reason for this sudden change in interests is unknown. Is this related to the work carried out earlier during the war? Was his stay in Ohio related to the possibility of building a radio communication system in the ELF range, like the Goliath system which the Kriegsmarine implemented in 1943 in the VLF range? Anyway, in 1956 the US Navy immediately pays attention to a publication about the cavity and initiates the Pangloss project which aims to generate the Schumann resonances. Before the first transmission systems was developed, M. Balser and C.A. Wagner from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) discover in New Mexico the natural Schumann resonance fields (Balser and Wagner 1960).

This is a breakthrough event that rapidly accelerates research on ELF waves. In 1962 a group of researchers from MIT arrives in Munich to discuss the results of resonance measurements with Schumann and his colleague H. König. In the same year, J. Galejs and J.R. Wait present a confidential report on the possibility of building a wave generation system in the ELF range. In
1963 Schumann returns to the United States at an invitation of the Pangloss group at MIT. The result of his stay is a study dedicated to the propagation of ELF waves in inhomogeneous magnetized plasma (Schumann 1964).

In 1968 the US Navy reveals that it carries out the Sanguine project, which aims at building a global communication system with submarines. This system, under the name SEAFARER (Surface ELF Antenna For Addressing Remotely Employed Receivers), reaches operational status at the frequency of 76 Hz only in 1987 (Barr et al. 2000). The history of the Schumann resonance research which follows is that the studies gradually migrate to civilian domain. Today, the study of the Earth-ionosphere cavity brings together dozens of people in many countries (Kulak 2019, this issue). However, the tormenting question still remains unanswered: what prompted W.O. Schumann to work on the Earth-ionosphere cavity in 1952?

I'm not too sure about his supposed work on the "Round Aircraft"- the Rundflugzeug series as that seems to lead to a lot of woo conspiracy tales and his nickname the "white wizard", dabbling in esoteric science perhaps, but the fact he was at Wright-Patterson at same time as the Roswell Incident has my tinfoil hat resonating hard.

Quote:A mystical reality of Schumann resonance

The Earth and its ionosphere is a giant spherical resonator, which cavity is filled with a weakly conductive medium. If the electromagnetic wave arose in this medium after enveloping the globe again coincides with its amplitude (enters resonance), it could exist for a long time. The physics of this phenomenon is relatively simple. The existence of resonance in the Earth-ionosphere system has been known since the discovery of electromagnetic waves. So why is Winfried Otto Schumann considered the discoverer of this resonance? And who is this Schumann? Many interesting mystical cases like secret societies, the technology of alien civilizations, and unidentified flying objects are associated with this man’s name. But the interested reader can read about it in Maximillien De Lafayette’s books, from which you can learn that the scientist has worked since 1922 on the creation of disc-shaped flying machines on alternative energy.

Hmmm, why does that name sound familiar? Oh yea, Lafayette wrote 4 lexicons/dictionaries, 127 books, 8 encyclopedias, 32 books on extraterrestrials and Anunnaki. He was commissioned by Yale University School of law to translate into Arabic, the White House draft of the new constitution of Iraq.

ETA: Just noticed that last month Stepford Biden continues the national emergency to control all Iraqi oil revenues, decision going back to 2003. This is how the US controls Iraqi governments and policy making! The swamp parasites are worried about money laundering & smuggling to Iran. smh. Since then, Iraqi governments are forced to ask politely for the US to release some of the money every month so the Iraqis can buy food and other things they need.

Howdy

I have a friend who is very into Earth Resonances and he posted some charts from this past week.

It is true that while the freq's were super (insanely?) high I had a lot of lethargy, low energy and also lower back pain.  Things which usually don't happen to me.
I need to see how they are today because I feel like my energy is picking up again.

Earth Resonances may serve an unseen purpose that we may never understand. Or it could be something outside of our limits.  Big Grin
