China's new military recruitment program - 727Sky - 05-17-2023
China seems to be ramping up their military recruitment program. No where in their commercial did I see "Woke" double speak ... If there is a no kidding shooten war god help us all as there are people just stupid enough to use nukes... I just hope the first nuke is not aimed at a USA carrier battle group.

The CCP leader is IMO making a serious mistake: he is swimming against the flow of Chinese history.
Propaganda aside, they have never been a naval power. They have the industry to build ships ... but lots of ships don't equal a Blue Water Navy.
It is one of those things like esprit de corps, a group has it or they don't.
China could acquire such a tradition, but given the lethality of today's weapons, it would come at a huge cost in men and ships.
I wonder if their priorities will change should Russia experience internal unrest. "Peacekeeping forces" and all that.

A couple of points - China is not "facing" flashpoints in the South China Sea and the border with India, China is GENERATING those flashpoints by trying to take territory that is not theirs to take. Big difference
Second, I do hope they are successful in recruiting college kids as the narrator states. That's worked out real well for us in the US! Not the same, I know, since they aren't pussifying their entire population as we are, but it's always been a dream of mine to face down an entire battalion of College Boys who've never smelled cordite or fired a shot in anger. I can't think of a better way for a Plow Boy to go than moving down the first few ranks of an army of collegiate Frat Bois before one finally gets me.
