Spooky the dragon that was magic and called Puff - 727Sky - 03-24-2026
When a fire base was being over ran if you could get Puff the Magic Dragon on station ( call sign Spooky ) most of your worries would disappear in a fine pink mist.
The sound of these aircraft when firing was enough to make some of the enemy run away in fear.

I used to follow this one-man show at the local bars near where I lived. Joe Tackett? was the guy's name. Anyway, his novelty act was parody songs he wrote, sort of like Weird Al. He did one on Puff the Magic Dragon. I can only remember the first lines.
"Puff the faggot drag queen, lived in DC. And frolicked with some congressmen, and gave them all VD."
I wish I remembered the lyrics; it was his signature song, besides a parody of La Bamba.
