Opportunities in the New Venezuela - Michigan Swamp Buck - 01-04-2026 A New "Reconstructed" Venezuela, destroyed by socialist dictators, rebuilt and secured under the control of the United States, will be a land of opportunity. They have abundant natural resources, with oil and gold aplenty. Not to mention that Venezuela possesses significant untapped reserves of rare earth metals. Now, I'm not suggesting we all go down there and do some carpetbagging (OK, maybe I am), but they need almost everything you could think of and more. This will be boom times down there, and it will be taken advantage of. The question is exactly how to do that without a huge investment of time and money. Find out which oil companies are going down there and invest in them. Same with any other company that intends to fill the void and occupy the opening niches. It could be food and agriculture as much as mining and oil operations. I'd like to see some ideas from the Rogues, I think this could make a lot of people some big money when the US fully takes over and it is safe to do business. Hell, let's all brush up on our Spanish and get down there, it might end up better than what is happening up here. Might be the place to go retire. RE: Opportunities in the New Venezuela - Michigan Swamp Buck - 01-04-2026 These oil companies have operated in Venezuela in the past, Gulf Corporation, Standard Oil, and Mobil Oil Corporations. The following have had their assets seized by Venezuela, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and ConocoPhillips. Then there are mining companies from Canada, China, and Russia down there already, along with the domestic mining companies. Quote:In recent years, various international companies have shown interest in Venezuela’s mining sector, particularly in the Orinoco Mining Arc (OMA), a resource-rich region divided into four main exploration zones: https://orinocorp.com/en/foreign-investment-mining-exploration-venezuela/ RE: Opportunities in the New Venezuela - 727Sky - 01-04-2026 Supposedly 800 tons of silver was flown out of Caracas after midnight a couple of days ago.. The cargo was listed as mining equipment but was heavily guarded by security forces both to the airport and during loading. As of today the exchange rate is 1.00 USD = 30,062,197.96 VEF.. gotta love socialism as it makes everyone except the rich control freaks equally miserable ! I hope their economy can get turned around quickly. Some Aussies down here like to think that we're the richest country in the world. Invest they say. But there is no real return except for the few. Bit far away this Venezuela for me. With my luck I'd invest in a company, it will go into administration later, dissolve and the owners will sail off on the private yatch with it's own landing near their ranch. Meanwhile I'll go on cutting wood. I'll brush up on my aussie vernacular. Don't need spanish, chinese, arabic, hebrew or even indonesian which some knuckleheads here seem to think makes them scholars. But over your way this might be the way to go. So, good on yer mate. Your work impresses me. Need someone to take our Goverment leaders away and put them on trial for ripping us off, forever changing laws and condiitions to suit them and supporting the overthrow of our way of life. Soon the Sydney revolving tower restuarant will be the tallest mineret in the world, the Opera house will be for prayers only and the harbour bridge will be flying ISIS flags supported by Julian Assange. My thoughts mate. Cheers and a beer, Bally RE: Opportunities in the New Venezuela - Michigan Swamp Buck - 01-04-2026 There are going to be areas overrun with lots of us Yanks, Little USAs, and you probably won't need to know Spanish. It might be worth the trip if you can come up with a good racket to fleece, um, I mean, start a reputable business that serves the local community. For a younger person, it would be rewarding to go there and actually perform acts of *good* to benefit the people. I'm unfortunately a bit old for such adventures anymore. I also suspect that the goons of Maduro's government will make life there miserable for at least a year or two.

I would give it a go. MSB - Also look at the oil companies in Guyana. Supposed to be a big oil boom there as well. |
