Active shooter on Campus Brown University Rhode Island - gortex - 12-13-2025
One suspect is in custody but Brown reporting an active shooter situation still ongoing , no confirmed details on casualties but unconfirmed reports of as many as 20 victims.
Brown just updated no suspect in custody.

A "person of interest" (PCSpeak for "suspect") has been taken into custody an identified.

Law enforcement officials say they are looking into what might be an extensive mental health history for Erickson. They said they are also looking into a possible connection to Brown.

Separate Wisconsin voter registration records from 2020 listed “military” under voter information.
Initial public records searches do not indicate that he had a previous criminal record.
According to a statement from Army Spokesperson, LTC Ruth Castro: “Benjamin W. Erickson was an Infantryman (11B) in the Regular Army from May 2021 to November 2024. He has no deployments and left the Army in the rank of specialist."

You may draw your own conclusions from the information so far presented, but always keep in mind that the source of the "information" must be considered. In the age of propagandistic misinformation, disinformation, and "spin", sometimes the information omitted, not relayed by the governmental mouthpieces, is every bit as important as the information they DO relay.
Some times, you need to read the unwritten words between the lies lines.

That's mighty convenient, since facts are that dead men tell no tales.
It also appears that shooting college students is a pretty harrowing thing, since it obviously ages one 20 to 25 years overnight. On the flip side, it also appears to be a great weight reduction program, and will reduce a gut drastically!
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like there is smoke being blown up their asses?
I'd have to see the entire chain of evidence that led to this "identification" before I's swallow that hook. Either the video evidence and the witness testimonies were wrong, or this "identification" is. Could be either, I reckon.
