After pouring all that national wealth into building them, they're not going to give them up. Also, tanks are useful for intimidating restless peoples.
As far as obsolete ... I think tanks will remain in armies, but they'll be smaller and be themselves drones. Robots inbound.

Ukraine has high technology and can make and deploy drones.
Where might China go? Philippines? I'm sure they have some US tech but I doubt much home-grown.
I'm sure Taiwan is full of high tech.
I still wonder about China going into Russia with Putin occupied with Ukraine. We might see some amazing tank-on-tank action if that happens. Beijing has all sorts of claims to the Eastern parts of Russia.
