RE: Loon Democrat U.S. Senator Attacks DHS Security Secretary Kristi Noem - sailorsam - 06-13-2025 Democrat strategy; do stupid stuff, blame Republicans and Trump, and rely on the media establishment to cover for you. happily every day more people are catching on to the media's incompetence and corruption. RE: Loon Democrat U.S. Senator Attacks DHS Security Secretary Kristi Noem - F2d5thCav - 06-13-2025 Should be removed from his position as senator with a special election to decide who replaces him. Normal deportment is AWOL with that character. ![]() RE: Loon Democrat U.S. Senator Attacks DHS Security Secretary Kristi Noem - xuenchen - 06-13-2025 At least Kristi was calm, but stern ![]() RE: Loon Democrat U.S. Senator Attacks DHS Security Secretary Kristi Noem - xuenchen - 06-13-2025 ************* So here's Padilla on MSNBC with lies and BS, and MSNBC of course doesn't show the "incident" ![]() ******** Padilla lying again right afterwards..... ![]() RE: Loon Democrat U.S. Senator Attacks DHS Security Secretary Kristi Noem - Ninurta - 06-13-2025 1) "I was just a soldier following orders" during the Nuremberg Trials is much like "I was just doing my Congressional oversight" - both are simply excuses for bad behavior, a phrase that is the last refuge of scoundrels. "Congressional oversight" does not involve press conference disruptions. It involves, you know, congressional oversight. 2) I find speaking in Spanish, during a public press conference, by an officer of a nation whose language is English to be rude, reprehensible, and dismissive of the people of a nation the man claims to represent. 3) He was "forcibly removed" and "forced to the ground" and "handcuffed" because he was being combative against law enforcement officers. If he were anyone other than a congress critter, he would still be cooling his heels in a cell for resisting arrest and interfering with law enforcement operations. 4) It's clear from the video that he was not there to "exercise congressional oversight", but rather instead to be a disruptive influence. You don't shout random questions at a press conference or fight law enforcement as a normal course of exercising congressional oversight. Likewise, lunging at other government officials is not a part of "exercising congressional oversight". Questions can be handled during the question and answer phase of a press conference, not shouted in the middle of it... unless your only goal s to be disruptive. 5) All in all, every action Padilla performed during this fiasco was conduct unbecoming the office of Congressman, and he should face censure by any and all who hold that office dear, and who respect law and order. 6) The same goes for Maxine Waters' dog and pony show at the Ice detention facility. She was not merely there to "exercise congressional oversight" as claimed, either. Both are simply dog and pony shows, publicity stunts, conduct unbecoming an officer of the United States. . RE: Loon Democrat U.S. Senator Attacks DHS Security Secretary Kristi Noem - sailorsam - 06-16-2025 good info on topic https://www.police1.com/federal-law-enforcement/why-the-secret-services-use-of-force-on-senator-padilla-was-legally-justified The Senator rushed into the room unannounced and unidentified, walked toward the protectee while yelling questions (which can be perceived as a hostile movement), did not cease when law enforcement officers (Secret Service agents) intervened and told him to stop, and then proceeded to push against those officers as they were trying to remove him from the room. As the Department of Homeland Security stated, “Mr. Padilla was told repeatedly to back away and did not comply with officers’ repeated commands,” the department added. "@Secret Service thought he was an attacker and officers acted appropriately.” Senator Padilla was way, way out of line. should be prosecuted for assaulting a federal officer. |
