A Kawasaki with LEGS - Kawasaki Corleo - gortex - 04-12-2025 Because wheels are a bit 20th Century Kawasaki feel the future of personal transport is legs , they've served us well enough so why not the our 21st Century transport , the Kawasaki Corleo is the first ... erm , step , toward our own mechanised horse dog thing. It's so cute , hope you can make it sit up and beg ! ![]() RE: A Kawasaki with LEGS - Kawasaki Corleo - SomeJackleg - 04-13-2025 (04-12-2025, 09:34 PM)gortex Wrote: Because wheels are a bit 20th Century Kawasaki feel the future of personal transport is legs , they've served us well enough so why not the our 21st Century transport , the Kawasaki Corleo is the first ... erm , step , toward our own mechanised horse dog thing. i've said for years, even before the EV craze hydrogen and normally aspirated or injection iss the way to go for clean burning fuel. as for the funky horse, nah. RE: A Kawasaki with LEGS - Kawasaki Corleo - Ninurta - 04-13-2025 I watched some promotional videos for those contraptions the other night. Wasn't impressed. All of their videos are CGI, and I'd rather see what the thing can really do without the CGI before deciding on it. It seems telling to me that I can't find any real footage of it in action. Don't think I'd trade my horse in for one. I can grow grass to feed a hay-burner, but I can't grow my own hydrogen fuel cells to feed that thing. Besides, where's the saddle pommel for me to hang my pommel holsters on? I can drop the reins on my horse and use both hands to fire, and the hose still knows where to go. If I turn loose of that machine's throttle, I feel like the poor critter might get confused about where to go and how fast to get there... . HydroCell Kit For Truck here is a example of just how much power hydrogen can produce. and here is a another hydro powered hot rod he built, Mike Copeland's Hydrogen Powered 1964 Falcon as far as firing on the run, just might have to get you a hud and mini gun setup. Keep in mind that I still run on black powder, because that's a bullet launching fuel I can make for myself... so the HUD and miniguns are about a century beyond my tech ability, and the hydrogen setup is at least two centuries beyond my tech ability. From what little I could understand of it, they appear to be hydrolyzing water into it's hydrogen and oxygen constituents, which I believe would take an external electrical power source to do the hydrolysis. It looked like they were using a deep cycle battery - how are they getting the charge into the battery for the hydrolysis? Still not trading my hay-burner in for a hydrogen burner. Too complicated. Grass just grows, horses just eat it, and then the horses just "go". Nothing extra to install and try to tweak. I've been without any motor vehicle at all for 4 months now, and am still managing to manage. Damned flimsy oil pans! . RE: A Kawasaki with LEGS - Kawasaki Corleo - Chiefsmom - 04-14-2025 While I understand this is still a "concept" vehicle, all I can picture is all the new Darwin award winners this thing could create. Too close to a cliffs edge, too close to wild animals.... You know, because some humans just have no common sense. |
