It seems to be a "THANG" with authoritarian idiots who proclaim fair and equal elections are a reality when actually those are just empty words.... as either jail or assassination will be used to stop the competition... Hummmm sound familiar ????????

Imagine if Trump jailed Gavin Newsome.  rough equivalent.

I don't think Erdogan is going anywhere any time soon.  like many strong men he has eliminated most of the competition.  could be a bloodbath when he dies with no clear successor, or procedure for succession.  


I see they accused the Mayor of 'terrorism'.  I guess that's the new label for people-we-don't-like.
