There are a few saying it is over for ATS however I think I would wait a day or so before making that claim... So much history gone if it is truly gone..

Well, you can't have a new world order with all of that evidence just sitting on line, can you.
I can't see certain people letting that happen.
I have always believed it is an intel site to keep an eye on the CTs.
Some of the Members were there for more nefarious reasons designed to steer research away from certain subjects but without proof I won't name names.
I think it will pop up again under new decent management.
For now, wait and see. All will be clearer very soon.

It is strange, not what I expected when it finally expires.
I haven't been able to sign in or make a new account for a long time now, so I lurked. There were enough people left to make it worth a check and read the comments, but since yesterday, nothing loads. No error page appears, nothing comes up. It is like it never existed. Today is the same, nothing loads at that address.
The sad part of all this for me is the articles and books I've been reading over the years that mention Above Top Secret. Right now I'm reading a paperback called "The Mammoth Book of Cover-ups" that goes over conspiracies from A-Z and there is research on ATS that is mentioned a couple times. I have another book like that with references to ATS, plus the online articles that refer to it. I know the Russians liked a lot of stuff on ATS, they even quoted yours truly on ATS.
R.I.P. ATS.
For me, you filled the gap left by the X-Files when they went off the air. Then I honed my CT research skills by doing threads there. I will miss that board. Both Deny Ignorance and Discord aren't taking up the slack or filling the void. As slow as it can be here, there is more action then D.I. and even more elsewhere I go. The forum boards are slowly dying out it seems. I'm glad Parler is back, still no consolation for the loss of ATS.

TPTB had a problem with those California fires exposing all the bullshit leaders there. LOLNewsom, Bass, all of them exposed beyond repair.
ATS had the most consolidated topics exposing it all.
Xtwitter has a lot too, but it's scattered.
The Shills couldn't stop it this time just like the election exposures.
Now Newsom is trying expunge as much as possible on his new site to battle mis-info, but it's worse because they're using lies to cover it all up and divert!
big trouble in little CA ATS might be gone for a while this time.

Besides just the memories, and the great people I met there, just the amount of incredible information lost is horrific.
Pictures, book and video referrals, Epic collaboration threads.
I know a few a DI were trying to save some of that.
I hope they succeeded.

I hadn't been there for a while. Their censorship was off-base (yes, ATS, Tim Walz fully deserves the nickname "China Tim").
In any case, the site had been limping for a long time now. Nothing like what it once was.
Here is a story from the old days regarding multiple visits to a foreign country (but not nearly as many as Walz has made to China).
When I was a GI in Europe, I enjoyed visiting a particular area of Swiss Alps because it was so tremendously scenic there. I went to that country about four times. The last visit, while I was on the way to their border with Germany, my friends and I realized there was a sedan pacing us on their version of an interstate highway. One guy was driving the sedan, another was busy *taking photos of us with a high quality camera*.
Obviously, the multiple crossings of their border had gotten me on their government's radar. Never mind that my sole purpose in their country was to hike and enjoy the food and drink.
Didn't go back for decades, that experience left me sour.
So that was a result of four trips there. I can only wonder what interest the Chinese authorities took in Walz with him visiting something like TWENTY-FIVE times. So yeah, ATS was full of it on that call. All in the name of some kind of spurious 'balance' ... or something.
It would be fine if ATS returns, but they should get out of the business of political topics because obviously they were too hot for the mods to handle.

I'm pretty sure that Cloudflare's headquarters are in San Francisco. Are there any fires near there? I can't keep up with where they're all burning.

Though I was primarily a lurker, I truly enjoyed reading and seeing real truth from multiple views. It made me create an evidence board in my head. So much info and subjective and objective opinions of brilliant minds. So sad do see it go. I would base news searches off of ATS. It enriched my life.
If it was that some secret power kept it going, why would they choose now to shut it down? It's not the fires. If this were the case why not go after any other site and X. I don't know what happened but we all who went to that adored site know truth, understand good debate, and can research and find info from places only duck duck go can find.
If it's truly gone RIP, ATS there is no place like that. We were truly blessed to have the freedom we did.

It has been over three days now and no resurrection. So apparently ATS is no Lazarus or Jesus Christ.
The corpse rots, and the body bloats as it fills with noxious gases, there should be some evidence of its demise as it floats up from the depths and washes up along shore somewhere. The truth will eventually surface, even if it comes up as rancid chunks covered with pieces of clothing.

it's still pingable, my understanding is it's redirecting. i could be wrong.
this site shows a few things,
under the info column it shows the the ATS cloudfare severs. three of the in kommieforna half the info and maps are missing,
under ping it seems to be pingable,
under under http it shows permanently moved it's also showing a 301 error meaning a redirect, and cloudflare showing a ssl handshake error. Cloudflare Hand Shake but that could be because they are now using https, at least the address i connect with is https.
TCP port shows connection with fairly short time and IP addresses
UDP port shows connection with IP address
and the last one DNS shows some low and high TTL.
i'm thinking either it's clouldflare severs in kommiefornia. although the ones their showing are far away from the fires, there maybe one in kommiewood causeing a problem.
that or it's been hacked again.

You're right about the second part though, unfortunately. Also for a conspiracy site, there sure were some closed-minded bastards. I appreciate skeptics, they're important in getting to the truth of things. Shutting down anything that doesn't fit somebody's worldview is something else entirely. I have 2 family members who are scientists, and they're some of the most closed-minded people I've ever met. I'm not saying that about all scientists, but a lot of them do have that holier-than-thou attitude.

I lurk around at Deny Ignorance and I never saw that thread. I tried to join early on, but it didn't work for some reason, so I lurk. I never tried again after that or pursued it by bothering management, but I had the feeling maybe they didn't want me there. Maybe that high school clique attitude moved over from ATS when the refugees created DI as a lifeboat (A wink and a nod to GeauxHomeLittleD).
It is slow over there, real slow and nothing I am not seeing everywhere else I lurk. I may try to join again as another persona, via a VPN if I have to, but I'm not that interested in hanging out with the cool kids on the play ground.

I can agree with you on that! We've got everything from tattoo artists to engineers running space projects in our family, seems like the more degrees one has the more closed minded the individual except in rare cases. I've learned over the years that the tattoo artist is much smarter than the engineer (who believes himself smarter than the tattoo artist). The engineer believes himself to be smarter than everyone else so he never questions what he was taught as truth, the tattoo artist has never stopped seeking knowledge and questions his own perspective as well as others so will never stop learning. Scientist or not? Maybe the egos that are drawn to similar fields more so than actual occupation.

The scientific method, properly employed, is a powerful tool for investigating natural phenomena.
Unfortunately, many who are called "scientists" are corporate employees more interested in their personal earnings than anything else. And too many of those who are not corporate employees use their status and position to beat down anyone else, including, and especially, other scientists whose ideas don't agree with their own.
All that said, I think everyone here realizes there are just some things that aren't suited to investigation using the scientific method -- the phenomena just don't sit still long enough to be analyzed and don't manifest upon command for verification of findings and testing of hypotheses.
