Huh, what do you know. It'll be the 2050s by the time were learn of some of the more interesting gems that's taken place the past 4 years. Maybe AI will be our friend and have a disclosure party reveal before the end of this decade. Then again, nobody will believe it.
Another little gem that I think few know about is back in the 1991 Gulf conflict the US military & some operatives did find & destroy WMDs in Iraq. Not what you think, not nuclear or biological, but Nazi size artillery cannons that would have wiped Kuwait off the map right on into Saudi Arabia. They were not Saddam's either but the artillery engineers (American) needed a place away from western eyes. Saddam was interested. I believe at the time they were still in R&D, not quite operational. I'll have to dig up that story sometime.
After the Gulf war the Kuwaiti's offered the USGOV $1 Billion in gold for one of our battleships.
