I know there has been a lot of doom porn about Yellowstone and yes if it blows it will not be a happy ending for humans and other living things possibly around the world..
I personally feel that with all the vents Yellowstone has releasing gasses that there is not a big enough pressure build up to set another big one off in that location.... However there are about 20 super volcanoes around the world both present and past and one that seems to be getting its fair share of attention is the one around Naples Italy ... With the population in the area of Naples today (if it blows) it would make Pompeii pale in comparison IMO.
