The guy doing the filming was kind of a dipshit too. Sure, he was within his rights, and exercising the same, but once they were leaving, there was no further need to just KEEP ON antagonizing them. Seems to me that he was probably trying to provoke an incident for the camera.
Provoking incidents with guys carrying badges and guns usually doesn't end well for the provoker.
Dipshit should have just left well enough alone once they were already on the run rather than trying to chase them down and keep provoking. Kinda makes me wonder what HE is about - I already know what the creepy Feds are about.
They shouldn't have come around pestering him about a social media post and threatening his First Amendment, and he shouldn't have kept chasing them when they were leaving on the run, yapping like an ankle-biter puppy.
If this is becoming the norm in America, then we're not far from the shit hitting the fan.
It might just be the hillbilly in me saying that, though. We'll stand our ground, and we'll stand it just as hard as we have to, but we won't keep on standing it once the confrontation is over, because we deeply understand how you lure an opponent into an ambush by getting them to follow you and keep on yammering.
Had it been me, I'd likely have lured them into the conversation they thought they wanted, and then tied them in knots with their own bullshit, but to each his own, I reckon. Now dipshit has to look over his shoulder for the next few years waiting on DHS to get enough on him to pay him a visit... or IRS... or whichever Fed agency they send after him next.
Freedom is great, but it comes with responsibilities to, for instance, look before you leap. You are free to succeed - but you are also free to get faceplanted when you allow your mouth to overload your ass.

I used to have respect for DOJ and FBI, but have never had any for DHS. I was against the "Patriot Act" that set DHS up, and that has never changed. It was written too broadly with clear intent to be applied as an internal security apparatus to be used primarily against US citizens, like the East German Stasi.
When DHS started giving away military surplus weapons and vehicles to local police departments, my crooked glance at them somewhat intensified. I have a spreadsheet here somewhere of the crap they gave to the local "podunk" cops, and it was an eye-opener. For instance, they gave about 700 surplus M16A1's to a local town police department that only has about 12 officers total - who are the rest of those guns for? Another tiny town here was given some kind of armored tank-looking thing for a department that has about 8 officers. I used to drive past it every day, just sitting there in a gravel lot across the street from the police station. The most dangerous, heinous crimes that occur there are running red lights or shoplifting at Walmart - what the hell are they gonna do with a tank? Leave it sitting in a gravel lot on display, apparently.
I guess we're all set in case Russia and China ever team up to invade us!
When DHS stood up TSA, they came to talk to me about working for TSA at the Greensboro International Airport. I laughed... and laughed... and laughed. I don't think I'd look good with lightning bolts or a skull and crossbones on my collar or a swagger stick... or a monocle.
FBI was stood up to fight criminals in America, but now it has morphed into a Citizen Harassment Agency. Same for DOJ, in general of which FBI is only a particular part.
