I have heard rumors of just how bad Fluoride can be for human consumption for many many years. There are others reporting these findings if interested in looking.

That's not all it's doing.
First, it sodium fluoride; not the natural fluoride found in nature. What we get is a byproduct of aluminum manufacturing. Tons of sodium fluoride are produced and needs to be "dumped" somewhere. (You're bathing in it, brushing your teeth with it, drinking it, cooking with it. etc)
When boiled in water it doesn't dissipate, it concentrates; and is now super sodium fluoride.
The main thing it does is calicify the pineal gland; which is a whole thread of its own as to what that means.
