The Legitimate Shape Shifter - NightskyeB4Dawn - 03-21-2024

My sister-in-law is a "Resident Alien" fan. I will admit that I did not give octopi much thought until watching this show with her, and having this video show up in my feed. I think maybe we should have a closer look at the octopus.

Now I find them not just fascinating, But I have to ask myself, what if they too, over time, have came out of the water? I mean, really came out of the water.

Quote:The Pacific Northwest tree octopus is an Internet hoax created in 1998 by a humor writer under the pseudonym Lyle Zapato.[1][2] Since its creation, the Pacific Northwest tree octopus website has been commonly referenced in Internet literacy classes in schools and has been used in multiple studies demonstrating children's gullibility regarding online sources of information.
