Taiwan's new president China not happy - 727Sky - 01-14-2024

After all the threats and money spent on opposition candidates the once V.P. is now president. He believes in an independent Taiwan and does not want his country to end up as another Hong Kong. Of course Biden steps in and says the USA has never supported an independent Taiwan.. I hope America and others can survive 11 more months of this idiotic regime in Washington

WASHINGTON, Jan 13 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden said on Saturday the United States does not support the independence of Taiwan, after Taiwanese voters rebuffed China and gave the ruling party a third presidential term.
Earlier in the day, the Taiwanese ruling Democratic Progressive Party's (DPP) presidential candidate Lai Ching-te came to power, strongly rejecting Chinese pressure to spurn him, and pledged both to stand up to Beijing and seek talks.

While I agree...... back in 1972 China was going to be our new big best buddy as a favored trade agreement with them was being thought out. The USA would show them how much better capitalism was than Stalin/ MAO's communist doctrine. Nixon's trip to China in 1972 sealed the deal which at the time looked good for American business and trade.

Now with dollars and all the trade that made China rich they think they can own the waters and land from North of Taiwan all the way down to Indonesia if not more.

The good news is China is having some serious problems of it's own presently, or the bad news is because of those problems they need a great war to get the population off their back ??

The huge Chinese Congress meeting where all the communist are gathered together would be a wonderful time for a big big IED or an ICBM to fall upon their heads; then let Taiwan run the show !!

Zhou Bai-Den HAD to make a point of saying it in the way that he said it - his CCP Masters demanded his support in this trying time for them.

It shows the double-faced-ness of US policy. I.e. if the Ukraine is entitled to assert it's own independence and sovereignty from Russia, then Taiwan should be entitled to have the same luxury vis-a-vis China, and is entitled to the same support as the Ukraine from the US and "international community".

It's only logical, but the Bai-Den regime/ CCP axis is anything BUT logical.

I have a special strike package in mind for just such an occasion.
