America The Land Of Dreams And Deceit - NightskyeB4Dawn - 12-01-2022
I often wondered, why here in America, the land of such great opportunity, where everyone is supposedly equal, and where we are all supposed to have the same chances for opportunities, why, is there still so many homeless, nutritionally impaired, and poorly educated people?
I have had my ideas and I have known since I was about two years old, after getting my first lesson from my mother, that "life is not fair". That nothing is free, and you don't get something for nothing.
I look back to when I was a child, and think about how poverty was such a potent motivator for almost all of us. We grew up wanting more, and knew we had to do something ourselves to make that happen. Mom and Dad didn't have it, and no one else we knew had it, so it was not going to be given to us.
Almost all the kids I grew up with went on to do very well in life. More did a hell of a lot better than me, mainly because I chose to forgo wealth for family. It was a very, very, good choice.
Someone here posted a Tom MacDonald video. I am not a fan of rap, so I did not know who he was. After watching his video, this video showed up in my feed. I think that between Tom's video and this one, a good portion of my original question just may have been answered.

I think he nailed that part of it and what he said applies to so many things being sensationalized by celebrities & perpetuated by death cults all in the name of $$$. I remember when rap was gaining popularity back in the 90s and I wanted absolutely no part of it.

Got me to thinking just how lucrative the culture of poverty and destitution is to TPTB.
Both are abundant in the ghettos, the backwoods, and any other place where they promote poverty and ignorance. Along with drugs and alcohol.
The series "The Ozarks" taught me how money laundering really works.
They keep us complacency, compliant, and beautifully gullible and malleable.
Are we really this far gone?
