Hello, Rogue Nation. I haven't had anything worthy to post in a while, since we are all stuck in an information loop, but I ran across this and thought it post worty; and pretty cool.

Large’ creature — with 20 arms — found lurking in Antarctic sea.

So, we've found a new species swimming around that is a around near the Antarctic. A strawberry shaped squid looking creature with 20 arms.

Thought yall might dig this.
Fromt the article:

"Researchers trawled the Southern Ocean on several research expeditions between 2008 and 2017, according to a study published July 14 in the journal Invertebrate Systematics. They were searching for a group of “cryptic” sea animals known as Promachocrinus, or Antarctic feather stars.

Antarctic feather stars are “large” animals that can live anywhere from about 65 feet to about 6,500 feet underwater and have an “otherworldly appearance” when swimming, researchers said. Although both are invertebrate ocean animals, feather stars are distinct from more well-known sea star"s."

This thing is creepy looking. I hope the picture posted for you all, but there is a picture in the article.  Sorry, I believe it's some click bait, but I find a lot of interesting news hidden away in them.

The Antarctic strawberry feather star was found throughout the Southern Ocean from depths ranging from about 215 feet to about 3,840 feet, researchers said.

The new species was identified based on its body shape and DNA analysis, the study said.

The research team included Emily McLaughlin, Nerida Wilson and Greg Rouse. Researchers also documented several other species of Anatarctic feather star, including three more new species.

Pretty neat, IMO. A new deep water species classified lurking around near the southern Indian ocean area.

The Science Boys keep saying that the old sea-stories were just yarns to frighten the landlubbers,
But I'm not so sure!

I wouldn't doubt it if most of the "legends" were, in fact, true.
Great thought, BIAD!

I went on a date with that creature millions of years ago back in my high school days. He looked like a normal, two armed boy but once we got into the parking lot of the movie theater at least a dozen and a half extra arms (with hands) sprung out of nowhere!

After the fight of my life and forcing him under threat of reporting him to the police to take me directly home a name for this creature arose and from thence forth he was known to one and all as "William the Octopus" and once the word spread he never got a date from any other girl for the rest of his high school career!

Just wanted you to know you had me laughing out loud when I read this. Reminded me of me in my younger days. Lol
Thanks.

That would be a good depiction of an alien. It sure doesn't look like it's from this world.
