Looks like yet another green company that received millions of dollars from government programs has gone kaput !!

This time it's Electric Bus Company Proterra.

They were heavily promoted by high rank Democrats since Biden took office on Jan 2021.

In fact current Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was on their board of directors and she owned millions of dollars of stock even while in her position and promoting the government money !!!!

Huge corruption at high levels !!!!

It's my understanding that they went bankrupt because the buses would not actually run, but they could catch fire like nobody's business, Not the best promotional advert for EV's, but pretty close to the actual mark. Why the hell would I spend 30 or 40K on a 'lectric when it won't get me to where I want to go, but could burst into flame at any second while just sitting there and doing nothing?

The E-vehicle with lithium ion batterys are dangerous , someone calculated that one e-bike battery equals energy of 6 hand grenades when it got fire, and they do got fire often .....still people want to keep them with their houses and take risk of house fire.
