Birth Pains - NightskyeB4Dawn - 07-25-2023

I was very surprised to hear a friend report to me that she was concerned about the obvious effects of "global warming" that is so prevalent now.

My neighbor told me that we were headed for serious trouble because of global warming and that no one can deny it now that it is happening all over the world.

Both of these friends are as unpolitical as they come. I consider myself a centrist, but both of them make me look like a radical in comparison. So their comments had nothing to do with politics. They were speaking of their concerns about what is right in front of our faces.

Our planet is going through some changes. I do not for one second believe that our lack of stewardship to our planet, is the sole cause for what we are witnessing. I am pleased that people are starting to pay attention.

Nothing to see here, I don't think our CO2 is heating up the rest of the solar system.

What are El Niño and La Niña?

WMO Update: Prepare for El Niño

June 2023 ENSO update: El Niño is here

In Europe they used wrong method to measure temperatures , the right and normal way is to measure 2 meters above the ground . There is significant temperature difference between those two , but since they wanted to scare people/lie they CHOOSE to use the ground temperature . Pathetic.

Awesome Kenzo!

Same in Australia. I lived through days like that, often for a week at a time.

No air-conditioning either.

Wasn't that difficult.

Kenzo--

I am surprised in my own residence how the temperature can change just by a meter or so of elevation.  At floor level it feels quite comfortable when eyeball-level feels stuffy and hot.  Perhaps I should spend my days by laying belly-down on a skateboard!

I also observe local weather.  So many times, the tops of the trees are being stirred by a breeze or wind, but ground level has no air flow.

The whole thing is kind of a statistical smear.

Cheers

RE: Birth Pains - 727Sky - 07-25-2023

This year a big El Nino has formed and people in the know have been saying for several months this year is going to be a problem for many spots.
I do not think this will be a super El Nino.... by mid July the El Nino temp is lower mid range instead of super elevated

Humans have evolved as living in tropical weather, hot weather . But cold is different story, our bodys cant take cold long .

This temperature doom porn looks awfully similar than  what started late 2019 Surprised with all that "cases " PCR test etc

Yeeh the method how to measure temperature do make big difference .

Another this is that city/urban areas have become like heat sinks , speacially ground .

RE: Birth Pains - Ninurta - 07-25-2023

The apparent heat being experienced by folks, in the US at least, is being influenced by an unusually strong El Nino this year. I say "apparent" because I see it on the news, and hear folks complaining about it where they are, but I've seen none of it here - nothing has been out of the ordinary temperature-wise here.

They expect that El Nino may go as high as 2.7 C above normal this year, and predicted back in the spring that it'll be rough.

like you i do not believe that man is the sole cause. sure there is some contribution made by man, but the earth has gone through changes it's entire existence, long before the numbers of man even became high enough to amount to anything.

the most recent ones that come to mind are Little Ice Age, which lasted about 400 to 500 years depending on what source you use, and the desertification of the of North Africa, which their now trying to blame goat herders for.

one reason i say this is the double speak the experts use, one breath they say that something can and does cause something, then turn around and say it can't or isn't. like magnetic pole shift.

they come right out and say that magnetic pole shift weakens the earths magnetic feild that protects the earth from solar radiation, then turn around and say that it doesn't amount to enough to effect change. i'm calling that goat shit. solar radaition cause heat. if more is getting in due to magnetic pole shift and higher solar activity then the earth is going to heat up, if solar activity weakens, and earth axis wobble shifts areas closer or further away temperatures are going to rise and fall.

two of the source articles that i base my thoughts on.

Quote:As Wright pored the archaeological and environmental data (mostly sediment cores and pollen records, all dated to the same time period), he noticed what seemed like a pattern. Wherever the archaeological record showed the presence of “pastoralists”—humans with their domesticated animals—there was a corresponding change in the types and variety of plants. It was as if, every time humans and their goats and cattle hopscotched across the grasslands, they had turned everything to scrub and desert in their wake.

What Really Turned the Sahara Desert From a Green Oasis Into a Wasteland?

so if that's the case what about all the millions of years that herds of gigantic animals roamed earth. did they cause all the deserts.

and from NASA,

Quote:During a pole reversal, the magnetic field weakens, but it doesn’t completely disappear. The magnetosphere, together with Earth’s atmosphere, continue protecting Earth from cosmic rays and charged solar particles, though there may be a small amount of particulate radiation that makes it down to Earth’s surface. The magnetic field becomes jumbled, and multiple magnetic poles can emerge in unexpected places.

Quote:While there is some evidence of regional climate changes during the Laschamps event timeframe, ice cores from Antarctica and Greenland don’t show any major changes. Moreover, when viewed within the context of climate variability during the last ice age, any changes in climate observed at Earth’s surface were subtle.

Flip Flop: Why Variations in Earth's Magnetic Field Aren't Causing Today's Climate Change

i say they know what causing it, and know what is coming. but greed and power are driving the ones in power and hedging their bets for control of the masses for the aftermath.

another thing, ever wonder why the vikings named Greenland Greenland, or Iceland Iceland i'm pretty sure it wasn't a market strategy like the establishment historians say was to fool people to move to a frozen wasteland, or keep from over immigration.

ETA: one more source article from June of this year,

Quote:The sun is quickly approaching a major peak in solar activity. Experts warn it could potentially begin by the end of 2023, years before initial predictions suggested.

Quote:Every 11 years or so, the sun's magnetic field gets tangled up like a ball of tightly wound rubber bands until it eventually snaps and completely flips — turning the north pole into the south pole and vice versa. In the lead-up to this gargantuan reversal, the sun amps up its activity: belching out fiery blobs of plasma, growing dark planet-size spots and emitting streams of powerful radiation.

This period of increased activity, known as solar maximum, is also a potentially perilous time for Earth, which gets bombarded by solar storms that can disrupt communications, damage power infrastructure, harm some living creatures (including astronauts) and send satellites plummeting toward the planet.

Solar maximum could hit us harder and sooner than we thought. How dangerous will the sun's chaotic peak be?

notice they talk about all the interruption, and harm living creatures but don't say anything directly about how it can harm living  creatures.

the lying truth omitting bastards.

ETA: one more source, here is the NOAA/NWS temperature data for every month for Tallahassee Fl normal and high temperature (RED)l and low(Blue) going back to the oldest i saw 1918, newest 2023, notice for all of them there is not much more than 1 to 6 degrees difference, and it doesn't stay at a consistent rise or fall. but this doesn't such the heat index/feels like. which can and does get damn hot or cold enough to put chilly bumps on your ass.

Tallahassee Normals Records

if climate changes, weather/temperature changes tend to reflect. i've lived on the gulf coast of fl in the boonies all but 10 years of my 63 years of life. use to go past the the beaches, bays, everyday to work and crossing three or four rivers several times a week, in four counties.

only time i've ever noticed a difference in any in shore line other than man made construction, buildings, bridges, dredging, and the like. was rivers and creeks flooding due to storms, and rain for days flooding which has always been that way all my life.

i tell it's all bullshit as far it's going to kill us all. it's earth natural cycles.

RE: Birth Pains - NightskyeB4Dawn - 07-25-2023

Wasn't it in the movie "Don't Look Up", that right up to the moment of the end of the planet, men were risking and making plans to exploit the whole planet for the chance to make a few dollars.

Money that they could not take with them, but they were willing to die and take the planet with them for an impossible chance of making money.

If we dare to start looking the past temperatures , i mean way back.....it was sometimes much hotter than now.

European heatwaves: Soldiers died in the heat in 1160, Rivers ran dry in 1303, animals fell dead in 1393

Past Heatwaves In Europe

1,500 Years Of Heatwaves

But now the heat, if there even is any " extra" heat now is because of man ??

I had to turn down the volume. I could not understand half of what he said, but found the video very interesting.

And the birth pains are just getting started.
