Somehow, after trying every name and email account I had used for ATS, I got back into my 2nd account. TheMichiganSwampBuck. I had to change my password, but I got back in.
The strange thing is, when I had ATS send me the new password, someone tried to get into that email account using the wrong password, so I had to wait and change my email password to get the new ATS password that was just sent.
IMO, it is some kind of scam when you try and get a new password.

Crikey mate. Nothing gets me more emotional than this charge. My Grandad was there. Brave souls and their horses. I'm glad he lived through WW1 as a Lighthorseman.
He died when I was a tinlid and to my knowledge never spoke of his involvement but I'm very proud of him.

Might be interesting to go back if TOS stops being allergic to clowns (I don't mean other users of the site) being called clowns.
The censorship-du-jour arbitrariness was both inconsistent in its approach and completely failed to educate users as to why certain comments were removed.

yep one breath they say one theing, then their next post they do the same they banned someone for. plus mods have never had their posts removed or banned that i have ever seen.

ATS started acting wonky again. I couldn't post a reply so I closed the browser and moved on. When I came back, I was signed out! Lucky I was able to sign in again using the new password I mentioned in my previous post.

Well, ATS is down once again, and won't connect to the host. Connection timed out Error code 522. Been down since at least 8 am this morning when I tried to get on over there.

Added: there also seems to be a pattern to this. Someone will post a thread, always asking about the inner workings of the site: the last example was someone was talking about how the server contract had been extended again recently, and how this did not add up to what little they already knew. I think this was yesterday that I saw this thread. But, in the past very similar posts will pop up, asking good questions, or pointing out something notable like that ,and almost every time, shortly after one of those threads get posted, poof....sites down soon after.
I have noticed a pattern of sequences revolving around that particular site going down like that, out of the blue.

I've talked to Jeff way more than Darko. Jeff was the IT guy who worked for Matt and managed the transfer from Bill. He never worked for Darko, he worked for Matt's company, Ready Alliance, which is the parent company for setups like MPS. The products are rebranded and sold under different names and umbrellas, most notably for Alex Jones and Glenn Beck.
Jeff told me that Darko owned ATS now, confirming what Matt had previously told me, which I wasn’t sure was true until then. Jeff had no reason to lie as Matt had just fired him when he told me that. He’s been incredibly transparent with me whenever I’ve had a question, even now.
I believe that Darko owns ATS, but I do agree that he and Matt had a falling out. Matt didn’t have very nice things to say about Darko, and when I relayed Matt’s words to Darko, it seemed to genuinely hurt his feelings. Matt is the shady, cutthroat business type, whereas Darko is the eccentric, psychedelic, new-age type passive beneath his veil of false bravado.
The question I have is why give it to him? Matt told me ATS wasn’t profitable. Okay, but why would he just give it away for free to someone he doesn’t even like? That doesn’t make sense to me. I do know that Matt and Darko go back quite a few years, before Matt even had money, so maybe there’s a deeper dynamic to their friendship that I’m unaware of. Who knows. It’s a shit show though no matter who owns the place.

So this whole drama is about profitability and a friendship on the rocks? First off, don't go into a business with a friend if you want to keep them as a friend. Second, at least try to fix the profitability problem before selling out or you go out of business anyway. I don't understand this limping along and lack of interest in doing anything at all. Put up a go fund me if cash is the problem, ask people with experience for help as volunteers if it is a tech thing, there is a whole community in the dark about this and many are willing to help.

I had a thought come to mind that maybe ATS was some alphabet operation that got the ax after DOGE made cuts. If true, I finally have something to complain about regarding Trump's administration.

I thought it was a letter agency site all along. All misdirection. And fyi, that means it was operating under one of those letter systems all along. Which would make the site a total distraction and misdirection of any real truth.
