I will watch the beginning and then skip to the end on some of these movies and not really feel like I have missed out on much.. The 56 and 57 ford cars bring back memories as the 57 was my first car. You know, that's a very good point. I love those movies from the 1950s because of the cars featured in them. I've always thought that the styling of the cars from the 1950s were the best and that Detroit did a bang up job during that decade. My first car was a 1958 DeSoto, plus I had a 1957 Pontiac and later a 1954 Chevrolet. And when I was born, my Dad had a 1956 Buick. I literally grew up with cars from the 1950s all around. I also currently own a 1950 Chevrolet. Kind regards, Bally) RE: Movies - 727Sky - 04-15-2025 I admit I have not watched this but the actors usually appear in good movies. With only 10 minutes into the film it appears to be about magic, sorcery, and witchcraft... Not my kind of movie but so far not to bad in a magic sort of way.. RE: Movies - 727Sky - 04-15-2025 I watched the whole movie and in spite of the dark settings it actually had a happy ending !! Worth a watch to pass some time.. Yes, a long time ago and has a particular gruesome gory cannibalistic scene that I vowed never, ever to watch again. With that said, it's actually not a bad movie. If you're into horror westerns this is your movie. RE: Movies - 727Sky - 04-16-2025 A Korean movie but you get 2 for one as the first movie was good and the second seems to be as intense. You will need to turn on your subtitles to English. The pace of the Last Jedi is now fixed and all the issues with bad acting, bad dialog, bad direction, bad pacing, characters behaving out of character and bad story elements have been eliminated leaving the main story and scenes all fans of the franchise want to see. Nearly every scene has been changed somewhat and I've utilised @ivanortegareal edit along with the original footage. His excellent work in giving new elements like the Rey Training was inspiring to say the least. (I still changed that section a bit from Ivan's). I concentrated on the characters, the story and the pace. I think Rian Johnson actually made a good film. Just that we never saw it at the cinema. Take all the politics out and give the fans what they want, and this is what I would have liked to have seen in the cinema. The video and sound quality are poor but hopefully that does not take away from the experience. I just wanted to demonstrate and showcase the hard work the staff at Lucasfilm and Disney put in and remove the divisive politics that stand in its way. This is now a most watchable film that I've seen dozens of times. Let me know what you thought. It becomes more watchable the more times you see it. (Yes I know that's what Disney said, but in this case its true:-) RE: Movies - 727Sky - 04-30-2025 Violence, gore, strong language etc etc RE: Movies - 727Sky - 05-01-2025 Terminator Genisys RE: Movies - 727Sky - 05-01-2025 Jackie Chan and Jet Li before they got old...
