an epidemic of a particular crime is taking place on British streets and those who are supposed to protect

There's a reason for that.

When I was a kid, we were taught that "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me."

Bllunt words are far less physically damaging than sticks, stones, bullets, bombs, molotovs, and knives.

"Hate speech" tends to leave fewer leaky holes in one's chest... so they go after the soft targets, because cowards always avoid those leaky holes at all costs.

Even the cost of their own souls.

Posted by the Telegraph 2 hours ago a leaked 19-page dossier on BBC bias that shows the BBC doctored footage to make it appear Trump incited the Capital riot , the evidence of their manipulation is shown in this 5 minute summary.

Quote:The BBC doctored a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.

A Panorama programme broadcast a week before the US election made it seem that the president told supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.

The “mangled” footage was highlighted in a 19-page dossier on BBC bias which was compiled by a recent member of the BBC’s standards committee and is now circulating in government departments.

The dossier said the programme made the US president “‘say’ things [he] never actually said” by splicing together footage from the start of his speech with something he said nearly an hour later.
It claimed that senior executives and the BBC’s chairman had ignored and dismissed a string of serious complaints raised by the corporation’s own standards watchdog.

The Telegraph will soon publish other excerpts of the memo which accuse the BBC’s Arabic service of bias over its coverage of the war in Gaza, and accuse the corporation of “effective censorship” of its coverage of the transgender debate.

The Ministry of Dis-information exposed again , it's beyond time that festering Leftist nest was defunded.

I was surprised by the amount of comments of surprise rolling in at that Telegraph article about
the BBC's behaviour. People have always believed producing neutral information for the public
has some-sort of discipline of adhering to a truth. The reality is it's all about keeping one's job.

There's no requirement for ethical conduct in being a troubadour or actor. They just need to be
convincing in the role they play. News Reporters aren't born with the need to carry the beacon
of veracity, but they learn that having an alluring style of delivering content can promote their
careers.

Since a sense of being entertained with fictional material usually means a return by a consumer
to repeat that type of enjoyment, designing factual information in the same manner would make
sense if one perceived information as product. From that point, the slim boring beam of accuracy
becomes a slippery path.

Ironically, the same platform of announcement they hold sway on has also been used to convince
the public of how forthright Journalists are!!
There is a good reason certain news-delivering individuals are paid very well!

Once upon a time, not long ago parents could take the kids to the Christmas markets when the only worry was where we could find the best glühwein.

The fact that the political system in UK & Europe in general and Germany in particular has still not held its political elite accountable for what they did to their civilization just informs that with each passing year, Europe will continue to drift towards decay and further away from having anything but a auxiliary role in the future...beyond being a warning to others.

Is Britain becoming more violent? - Must be a perception thing or trust the science thing as the "data" says otherwise.

RE: Britain Today - BIAD - 11-04-2025

It's a sad day indeed when Brits would have to ponder this...

RE: Britain Today - Ninurta - 11-04-2025

I'm not British, and so really have mo legitimate say in the matter, but if I were asked about it in, say, a non-voter survey, I'd be good with erecting a tall wall entirely around London, and just putting Snake Plisskin on standby.

London was founded by invaders (Romans) of The Enchanted Isles - who became the foreign overlords of the land for 400 years - and it's sort of fitting that London be destroyed by invaders as well.

Ireland has it's "Book of the Invasions of Ireland", and the rest of Britain should have theirs, too. The Romans, then the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, the Vikings, and then later the Normans... all were invaders, sometimes overlords, and all left their mark on the British people. I'm a product myself of all of the above, mostly the original Celtic tribes that invaded and took over from the Mesolithic hunters and gatherers. I've got a small bit of those hunter-gatherers in me, too.

This current overrunning of British shores may just be the latest installment. It certainly will be, if the native British don't fight back. Maybe we should just turn a fresh page and prepare for another entry in the "Book of the Invasions of Britain".

There were spikes in violence during all of those previous invasions, too. Because that's what invaders do - they come prepared to conquer.

And that is a violent process.

Quote:Second migrant sex offender accidentally released from prison

'A second migrant sex offender has been accidentally released from prison.
An Algerian man, 24, was accidentally released from HMP Wandsworth in south London on Wednesday
last week. However, the Metropolitan Police was only informed at lunchtime on Tuesday.

Wandsworth Clink.

It is understood that he was serving time for trespass with an intent to steal but has previously committed
a sexual offence of indecent exposure. The news emerged as David Lammy, the Deputy Prime Minister,
refused to answer multiple questions from James Cartlidge, the shadow defence secretary, at Prime
Minister’s Questions on whether any other migrant had been mistakenly released.

Mr Lammy later said he was “absolutely outraged and appalled by the mistaken release of a foreign
criminal wanted by the police”, adding that his “officials have been working through the night to take
him back to prison”.

[Image: 2915.jpg?width=465&dpr=1&s=none&crop=none]
Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy.

The mistaken release of the prisoner came less than two weeks after Hadush Kebatu, the Epping migrant
sex offender, was wrongly freed from HMP Chelmsford instead of being transferred to an immigration
removal centre, which led to a 48 hour police manhunt. Kebatu, who was jailed for sexually assaulting a
14-year-old and another woman, was forcibly deported back to his home country of Ethiopia after being
paid £500 to drop his threat to lodge a fresh asylum claim and disrupt his removal from the UK.

The accidental release of the Algerian comes despite the introduction of tighter checks – described by
Mr Lammy as the toughest ever. The Metropolitan Police said: “Shortly after 13:00hrs on Tuesday Nov 4,
the Met was informed by the Prison Service that a prisoner had been released in error from HMP
Wandsworth on Wednesday Oct 29.

“The prisoner is a 24-year-old man of Algerian nationality. Officers are carrying out urgent inquiries in an
effort to locate the man and return him to custody.” It is not clear why the prison service did not alert police
for six days, nor whether Mr Lammy knew of the accidental release when he was asked six times at the
despatch box, where he was standing in for Sir Keir Starmer.

Robert Jenrick, the shadow justice secretary, said: “This is another shambles under Calamity Lammy’s
watch. Accidental releases of prisoners have more than doubled under this government and David Lammy
doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.

“The British people are being put in danger time and again due to the Government’s sheer incompetence.”
Downing Street tried to blame the previous Conservative government for the mistaken release of another
migrant, describing the blunder as “utterly unacceptable”. The Prime Minister’s spokesman said: “We have
been very open about the chaos that this Government has inherited.” The case would be front and centre
of a review into wrongful releases by Dame Lynne Owens, the official added...'

Lammy is an idiot no doubt but I do doubt this is a new thing , although it's curious how under Labour it's migrants that are being "accidentally" released.

The Conservatives practically sealed the coffin of this country during their 14 years of failure now it's left to Labour to place the final nail.

Unsurprisingly "Never Here Keir" is currently in Brazil saving the World in 5* luxury.

Must be some reason that Lammy dodges the question of whether or not it has occurred other times when a simple "no" could have laid the question to rest....

Quote:Public 'at risk' as more inmates sent to open prisons - with another manhunt under way

A woman stabbed 24 times by her ex-partner while she was still pregnant
wants violent offenders to be ineligible for transfer to open prisons.

'Public safety is "at risk" because more inmates are being sent to prisons with minimal security,
a serving governor has warned - as details emerge of another manhunt for a foreign national offender.

Mark Drury - speaking in his role as representative for open prison governors at the Prison Governors'
Association - told Sky News open prisons that have had no absconders for "many years" are now
"suddenly" experiencing a rise in cases.

It comes after a man who was serving a 21-year sentence for kidnap and grievous bodily harm absconded
from an open prison in Sussex last month. Sky News has learned that Ola Abimbola is a foreign national
offender who still hasn't returned to HMP Ford - and Sussex Police says it is working with partners to find
him.

[Image: skynews-ola-abimbola-open-prison_7074388...1107073638]
Ola Abimbola... not what you'd call a 'family man'.

For Natalie Queiroz, who was stabbed 24 times by her ex-partner while she was eight months pregnant
with their child, the warnings could not feel starker. Ms Queiroz sustained injuries to all her major organs
and her arms, while the knife only missed her unborn baby by 2mm.
"Nobody expected either of us to survive," she told Sky News.

Babur Raja was sentenced to 18 years for attempted murder, but Ms Queiroz has recently been told that
he's set to be moved to an open prison four years earlier than planned. "Any day now, my ex who created
this untold horror is about to go to an open prison," Ms Queiroz said.

Open prisons - otherwise known as Category D jails - have minimal security and are traditionally used
to house prisoners right at the end of their sentence, to prepare them for integrating back into society.
With overcrowding in higher security jails, policy changes mean more prisoners are eligible for a transfer
to open conditions earlier on in their sentence.

"It doesn't feel right, it's terrifying, and it also doesn't feel like justice," Ms Queiroz said, wiping away tears
at points. Previously, rules stated a transfer to open prison could only take place within three years of their
eligibility for parole - but no earlier than five years before their automatic release date.

The five-year component was dropped in March last year under the previous government, but the parole
eligibility element was extended to five years in April 2025. Raja, who is due for release in 2034, has
parole eligibility 12 years into his sentence, which is 2028.

Under the rule change, this eligibility for open prison is set for this year - but under the new rules it could
have been 2023, which is within five years of his parole date. Another change, introduced in the spring,
means certain offenders can be assumed suitable for open prisons three years early - extended from two
years.

Ms Queiroz has been campaigning to prevent violent offenders and domestic abuse perpetrators from
being eligible to transfer to an open prison early. She's had meetings with ministers and raised both
her case and others. "They actually said - he is dangerous," she told Sky News. "I said to [the minister]:
'How can you make a risk assessment for someone like that?' "And they went: 'If we're honest, we can't.'"

The government told Sky News that Raja's crimes were "horrific" and that its "thoughts remain with the victim".
It also insisted the "small number of offenders eligible for moves to open prison face a strict, thorough risk
assessment" - while anyone breaking the rules "can be immediately returned". But Mr Drury describes risk
assessments as an "algorithm tick box" because of "the pressure on offender management units".

These warnings come at an already embarrassing time for the Prison Service after migrant sex offender
Hadush Kebatu was mistakenly freed last month. This week, it emerged two others have been freed in
error since then, amid new release checks.

In response to this report, the Ministry of Justice said it "inherited a justice system in crisis, with prisons
days away from collapse" - forcing "firm action to get the situation back under control". The government
has promised to add 14,000 new prison places by 2031 and introduce sentencing reforms
