While Nasa was busy making history with its announcement of water being found on the surface of the
Red Planet, a notorious alien hunter 'found' Elvis Presley performing on Mars, but thought it was just a
bog standard alien.

US alien investigator Scott C Waring, editor of UFO Sightings Daily, who regularly scours photographs
beamed back from Mars by the Nasa Curiosity Rover, was looking for evidence of alien life. He proudly
posted on his website he had discovered an "alien figure watching (the rover) from a hillside"…but failed
to point out it was the spitting image of the King. Mr Waring said excitedly: "Guys, I found this figure in
a Curiosity Rover photo.

"I was at one of the two blogs that NASA has for the rover and caught sight of something standing upright
on two legs. "When I made the photo five times bigger, I found that the figure seemed human-like." Mr
Waring said it was the tenth figure he had found in the last three years, but complained Nasa had ignored
all of them. But, coming from the US of A, Mr Waring should have seen that this was not just another
figure…what he found was a dead ringer for the King himself - Elvis Aaron Presley, complete with quiff,
and flared jumpsuit.

"bring him out" as he does with all his discoveries, he was back to his good old-fashioned white one.
