Today is a day that a nation gives thanks by gathering with family at the dinner table with a feast of some kind or another. Not everyone can afford to go all out on the celebration with fancy spreads and all the trimmings, or have family close enough to gather with, but this does not mean that there isn't still much to be thankful for.

I am one of those who live by meger means, and I live alone and don't have family left around to have those nice family gatherings. But I am also very thankful for exactly the way my life has turned out. 

Truth be told my life has been a mess quite a bit. I have had seasons of blessings and seasons of hardships. I have struggled equally for both. I have witnessed the darkest corners and the brightest skies. I have been surrounded by loved ones with laughter dancing in the air, and I have felt the cold and lonely silence of solitude. I have felt the finger of God touch my soul with the most blissful joy our bodies can handle, and I have felt the devil kick me in my teeth as he raked me across his coals. I have felt the sweetest victories and the bitterest of defeats. I have been loved and I have been hated. 

Even with having a tougher than normal life (imo), with all the struggles I have faced, I am thankful for every bit of it.  

I am thankful I know the darkness as well as I know the Light. I am thankful I know both joy and pain. I am thankful for this stubborn mind that pushed back against everything that didn't seem right. I am thankful for the lashes I have endured at the hands (or mouths) of my enemies, as much as i am thankful for the embraces of those who love me.

I am very thankful for the fact that my life hasn't been easy. I am thankful for the meekness in which I have lived. I am thankful for these eyes that can see that.

I am thankful I know the difference in what is right and what is wrong. 
I am thankful for the fact that I am happy for everyone in all their blessings and that I truly do not covet or despise those more fortunate than myself. 

Which makes me most thankful that I know Love. I am thankful for the love in my heart for others. I am glad I know the pain of loving others, as much as being loved by others. 

Sum it all up, and I am thankful I know the Truth.

Regardless of what I have, or where I am at in life; whether in abundance or in need, I have learned the Secret of being content.

So a right wing candidate appears to have won a plurality of the national vote (Geert Wilders)

Doesn't mean he will be the PM as he needs almost double the seats in parliament than his party currently has in order to form a government.  He may be able to form a coalition, but that works both ways.  The Euroleft is certain to form awkward coalitions just to keep him out of power.

Cav take: Right wing politics haven't been popular in Europe since 1945 as Adolf burnt everyone out with his version of those.  But for the last three decades, the Euroleft has consistently disregarded the interests of their own people in order to encourage migration from other regions of the world into Europe.  Things are getting feisty; once quiet cities in Sweden become "grenade attack capitals of Europe" etc.  And the average Europeans are slowly getting fed up with it all, thus right wing and populist candidates are garnering more of the vote.

Sweden, Italy, and now, the Netherlands.  The Eurocrats in Brussels are NOT happy with these developments.

The elite are trying to do their best to convince us that everything is just fine, but meanwhile the Conference Board’s index of leading economic indicators has now fallen for 19 months in a row…


A key measure of the direction of the U.S. economy fell for the 19th straight month and once again indicated that a recession is looming.

The leading economic index fell 0.8 percent in October, the Conference Board said Monday. The LEI is based on 10 indicators that tend to forecast the direction of the economy.
Economists had expected a milder decline of 0.8 percent.
The last time the index declined for 19 months in a row was during the Great Recession when it fell from the end of 2007 through 2009.


The last streak of this magnitude started in 2007.

But we didn’t have a recession in 2007.
And things still seemed relatively fine in early 2008 too.
Of course then we got to the end of 2008 and everything fell to pieces.
That is why they are called “leading” economic indicators.
They tell us what is coming.
And what is coming in our time is not going to be fun.
Needless to say, most of the population is not prepared at all for a major economic storm.
Survey after survey has shown that most of the U.S. population is currently living paycheck to paycheck…



The majority of U.S. adults are living paycheck to paycheck heading into this holiday season, a report shows.

LendingClub’s latest report shows that as of October, 60 percent of adults said they are living paycheck to paycheck. Around 40 percent of consumers consider themselves to be worse off now than in 2022.
Even higher earners are struggling to get by, with 42 percent of those making six figures also living check-to-check under President Joe Biden.
According to a separate CNBC survey, the number of adults struggling to save between checks is up from 58 percent in March.



As long as those paychecks keep coming in, they can keep scraping by from month to month.

But now layoffs are starting to surge again all over the nation.
Young Americans are in particularly dire straits.
Millions upon millions of young Americans have low paying jobs and are deeply struggling with student loan debt, and this is one of the reasons why the average age of a U.S. homebuyer just keeps going higher and higher…



The average American homebuyer is now 49-years-old – 18 years older than in 1981 – as inflation, college costs and house prices make it harder for young people to get a foot on the ladder.

Research by the National Association of Realtors has revealed that the median age of all homebuyers has steadily crept up over the past forty years.
The most shocking contrast is for first time buyers where the median age is now 35, up from 31 in 2013 and 29 in 1981.




The American Dream is now out of reach for most of the nation, and that is especially true among those that are under the age of 40.

But the mainstream media absolutely refuses to acknowledge the truth.

Decades of very foolish decisions have brought us to this stage, and now we are truly going to reap what we have sown.

I can think of a whole lot better things to do with 114 million dollars than pay some DNC activist shit-tards to preach this crap to our troops as this is what it is about. Specific people make the money teaching this divisive crap (who in turn probably kick back to their DNC affiliate).

"Leaders at all levels are responsible for fostering a climate of inclusion that supports diversity, is free from problematic behaviors, and does not tolerate retaliation or reprisal against those filing complaints," the DOD previously wrote in its Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Request.
