List of high-profile Iranian figures confirmed killed over the past 24 hours:

- Commander of the IRGC's Tharallah Corps in Kerman Province, Amir Amirmohammadi.

- Mosaib Bakhtiari, one of the commanders of the 1st Naval District in IRGC Navy, was killed in American airstrikes on Bandar Abbas.

- Amir Hossein Asadollahnnia, a Basij commander in Zanjan Province, was killed in an Israeli strike on a checkpoint.

- Lieutenant Colonel in the IRGC Aerospace Forces, Vahid Babayi and in the 4th image pics of 6 lower-ranking IRGC members were also published on Iranian TV.

The US-Iran war entered its 26th day with no signs of diplomatic breakthrough, as Iran's military flatly rejected negotiations, with Khatam al-Anbiya HQ spokesman Ibrahim Zolfaqari declaring the US is "negotiating with itself", while FM spokesman Baghaei told India Today that Iran has "absolutely no trust" in US diplomacy after being attacked twice during active negotiations, and Tehran specifically refused to engage with envoys Witkoff and Kushner, instead signaling a preference for direct talks with VP JD Vance.

On the military front, the IRGC launched Wave 80 of Operation True Promise 4 — codenamed 'Ya Shadid al-Qowa' — targeting Israeli military command centers north of Safed, Tel Aviv, and US air bases in Kuwait and Jordan, while Iranian-backed Iraqi militia FPV drones struck Camp Victory in Baghdad, with OSINT footage confirming hits on a US AN/MPQ-64 radar and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

The conflict's global economic toll deepened dramatically, with the Philippines declaring a national energy emergency, Australia facing fuel station shortages amid panic-buying, South Korea entering a 'critical state' over naphtha and helium supply chain disruptions, and Brent crude briefly falling below $100/barrel on ceasefire speculation before markets remained skeptical; the UN Human Rights Council opened an urgent debate on Iran's military aggression against Gulf states, and NetBlocks confirmed Iran's internet blackout has now surpassed 600 hours — entering its 26th consecutive day.

The regime & infrastructure will be in taters & chaos, perhaps neutered so they don't impose any threats to anyone except themselves, but Iran will always remain. If you want to build a country that looks like a fortress just look on a topographical map of Iran.

The other Gulf countries realize that if Iran disappears, the Israel/US alliance will come after other Gulf countries next. That heinous Muslim Brotherhood in Qatar will be a target. Look at Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq. Egypt will probably get sucked into this war and there are whispers that after this war concludes or expands, Israel is going after Turkey.


No Surprise: IRGC has rejected the U.S. 14-point plan. They've dropped the demand for an American withdrawal from the region, but not for guarantees of non-resumption of the war, which is the same thing.

Iranian media report 5 conditions to end the war:

1- A full halt to “aggression and assassinations” by the enemy.

2- Concrete guarantees that war will not be imposed on Iran again.

3- Guaranteed and clearly defined war reparations.

4- An end to the war across all fronts, including for all resistance groups in the region.

5- International recognition and guarantees of Iran’s sovereign authority over the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran says it has informed intermediaries that no ceasefire or talks will happen unless all conditions are accepted.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi:

"For some countries we consider friends, we have allowed passage through the Strait of Hormuz; we permitted China, Russia, India, Iraq, and Pakistan to pass. There is no reason to allow our enemy to pass through the Strait of Hormuz."

Forget Kharg Island. The island that matters right now is Qeshm Island and Larak Island. IRGC naval bases, port infrastructure, and control over ship screening. It functions as a choke point, effectively a toll booth and targeting hub inside the Strait.  Apparently the US has bombed the larger island according to video at bottom of this post.

AFAIK, Iran's targets in Iraq have been limited to US military assets and bases and the "Green Zone" embassy. Now, last I saw, US aircraft are even avoiding Iraqi airspace.
