There's an anti Reform clause in the agreement which would allow the EU to implement sanctions against the UK if Reform UK win power and try to change the agreement.
That doesn't seem very legitimate. The reason folks change governments is because they want to see the governing go a different way. That's sort of like tying the hands of any new government to insure that they can't, you know, govern...
Why bother having governments if the governed are going to let foreigners tell them just how it's going to be? I.e. if they are going to let foreigners govern, why bother with a domestic sham of a government?
These international "agreements" and treaties are basically just contracts, and contracts are broken all the time, or withdrawn from. This clause that allows the EU to pretty much take over the government of the UK does not seem to be legal, or enforceable.
