Ah yes, we all knew this was coming. I can't wait until they ban the sale and possession due to "hate speech"

Some expect the churches who preach traditional morality will be next.

Quote:The individual also included an eight-page document of specific Bible verses to substantiate their claim that the Bible includes many examples of the sensitive materials that have led to the removal of other books.

"You'll no doubt find that the Bible, under Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-1227, has 'no serious values for minors' because it's pornographic by our new definition. Get this PORN out of our schools! If the books that have been banned so far are any indication for way lesser offenses, this should be a slam dunk," the person wrote.

Quote:In the beginning, a parent filed a challenge to have the Bible removed from Davis School District libraries, citing passages describing sex and violence.

The district said let there be a review of the book. And it was so.
Now, the committee appointed by the district to review the complaint and decide if the Bible is appropriate for students to access has made its determination: High schools in Davis will keep the religious text on the shelf.

But it will be removed from elementary and middle schools for containing “vulgarity or violence.”
That decision on the book challenge — which gained national attention when it was first reported on in March — will take effect immediately, said Davis School District spokesperson Christopher Williams in an email to The Salt Lake Tribune this week.

I suggest strongly that people get their children out of public schools, because they are not about educating them with reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Parents need to be more involved in their children's education, and in their lives.

If your children are spending more of their quality time with others instead of with you, then you need to start making them your priority.

I took the ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) exam, and I scored a 1 out of 10. My Dad was a drunk, a happy, lovable drunk, but he was an alcoholic. That is why I scored a 1 instead of a 0. I had almost no adverse childhood experiences because my parents were very involved in our lives, and they were very involved in our education. And there was ten of us. Add to that the community of nosy neighbors that watched us children like hawks. They were always two steps ahead of us because they had already walked that path, so they were able to keep us out of trouble.

Our children today spend the majority of their time with strangers in a virtual world that was designed to remove them from reality. A bunch of people with an agenda, and they do not have your children's best interest at heart.

Parents are going to have to step up.

Unfortunately, many cannot afford to do so and they will fight tooth and nail to not allow charter schools or any other alternative.

They might as well home school. The only thing those college degrees will be worth are jobs at Burger King or McDonald's, and AI is going to take most of them away, anyway.

Apprenticeship and skill based jobs will be the money maker for a little while and AI will take over that as well.

Us useless eaters will be the entertainment center of the bread and circuses, or  the contestants for Fifteen Million Merits.

Or Soylent Green.

Them was the days.

The whole school would quiver when my Mother showed up, and show up she would.

She would be double pissed because she had to take off from work to go there, so she made sure everyone involved felt her misery.

Mother Dear, did not play.

I would take the sanity of the 1980's over this madness any day of the week.
