The legendary Art Bell is a great example of why you shouldn't become famous for weird stuff..unless you have the cajones to persevere. His FBI file is full of death threats, stalkers, and people faking chat logs to frame him for slandering the Phillipines.
FBI FOIA file on Art Bell released (from that Black Vault guy; with plenty of redactions) Also, some files on the one & only William "Bill" Cooper.
The FBI redaction code "b5" means: inter-agency or intra-agency memorandums or letters which would not be available by law to a party other than an agency in litigation with the agency. The other codes apply to personal and/or agent privacy info, you know like "names & places."
Little known factoid: I had lived ~17 miles away from Art Bell's compound in Nevada.
Art Bell used to make reference to a phenomena he called "The Quickening" (tribute to the movie "Highlander"), a phenomena that would send all of humanity across the threshold of a complete paradigm shift. I'd say that shift has arrived and currently ongoing!
In 1997 he published a book titled The Quickening: Today's Trends, Tomorrow's World

At any rate, you should take a good look at the world around you because it won't be the same when you wake up tomorrow.
