the left has focus groups and such that help them to determine what the voters want and dislike. they found people like democracy, so they tag their opponents as against. like racism; nobody likes racism, so they tag the right with it whenever possible.
so they'll create a bill with stuff they like, like high taxes and fossil fuel restrictions, and call it the 'economic growth act' so people will think it's something its not.
and of course their puppets in the media will not analyze and tell us.

The title should be the same as the title of the book they are talking about in the video, "White Rural Rage: The Threat to American Democracy" by Tom Schaller and Paul Waldman.
Democracy is the main buzzword of the Socialist Democratic Party. However, the US is at most a representative democracy where the citizens vote for representatives who are supposed to vote on their constituent's behalf. Not much we can vote on directly other than representatives that have the actual power to do with as they please.

Other than that misuse of the word democracy by the left, I'd say that Rural Americans are becoming enraged and that it might be a threat to the Democratic party at the voting booth, but it isn't a threat to the democratic processes we are currently using.
