I hope not , this is my safehaven from the world, really . ATS is not the same anymore , every site has been going downhill except here. I'm sure Ninurta or Biad can answer what happenend, I would like to know too.

Life is starting to feel more and more like having to defend from constant attacks from all sides, it's really getting depressing. 
Constantly having to worry about the next thing that will fail : uncertain food supplies, looming bank crashes, restricted travel, untrust worthy corrupt governments, corrupted medical community and hospitals ,  aims from the government to steal everything you own (property taxes, hoa fees, immiment domain , civil forfeiture , higher more restricting property insurance and on on and on ) , just to name a few. I just want some rest from it all

I've done some investigating of my own and came up with a few things I'd like to share, but will have to do it later. I've got to backtrack and find the articles again. Apparently in the UK several (or all of them, i cant rememberthis am) "conspiracy websites" went down the same time frame of all of this with ATS and now RN.

I'll be back later today with everything I found compiled together. 
I also did a little study on DDoS and the SQ error we were getting. 
I'll be interested to hear what Ninurta has to share. Hope he feels better.

I used to think that no one was interested in what us poor insignificants talked about on the internet. But way back when My Space was all the rage and forums were a different venue, I pissed someone off. Whomever it was, they had some reach.

They fried my computer causing me to buy another. The IT group at Best Buy, told me that it was probably just a bad outlet. They gave me a surge protector.

Two days later I was back with a fried computer. Best Buy was puzzled. The kept it to look at it and gave me a new computer. I brought it back the next day. Fried. 

Best Buy could not find out what was going on. So I went to the library to use their computers. I felt so guilty when less than 30 minutes on their system, the whole thing went down. It took them 3 days to get the system back up.

I stayed off of the forums after that for several years. 

Coincidence? Maybe. But I believe if they want to shut you up, they have a few ways to do just that.

Different thing. This time, the web host was doing a massive host-wide upgrade which was concentrated on the data center where our server physically lives. Ir was supposed to take 6 hours or so, but took the lion's share of an entire day instead. I reckon they must have encountered some kind of problems with the upgrade. I couldn't even log in to the web host account to lodge a complaint or discover what they were saying.

Last time it was a disk space issue. That got mitigated in a couple of ways, but has not yet been solved. The web host cleared some stuff out and freed up a little space, and I went in to the back end and set the backup frequency lower, but there are still a bunch of backups just sitting there in a folder in the root directory that I can't get into to zap and free up THAT space... and those backups are what is clogging up most of the disk space. They're really unnecessary, as the web host regularly creates their own backups off-disk.

I'm a month overdue for doing my annual full-site backup to local, because there is not enough space on the disk to house the full-site backup until I can get it downloaded to local and deleted from the site server.

Damn 'puters! Weren't they supposed to make life easier?
